What do you mean won't allow? They can't stop Bitcoin anymore and they have no choice but to coexist with it now. They could try to squash it but that attempt would be futile as they would spend billions and achieve nothing, or they could continue to keep the network going. There isn't a way they can take down Bitcoin anymore, there only option is to live in harmony with it.

Something that had a physical value was used in the past as a transaction mechanism becaus of the very value that it holded. With evolution in human civilisation, this sustem also evolved into a common system being called as money. Now since our technology and sciences are advancing aswell, adapting newer methods of exchanges and transactions is not something wrong or extreme as it appears to be.

Cryptocurrencies are pathways for this evolvement. Paper money have been their for years and decades. Now with the advent of technology and new mechanisms, wherein the money can be former, used, and stored over cloud itself, shifting and adapting such a system is a good and farsighted step for a developed nations.

I didn't read everything on the Medium link posted because I have already read or watched too much about this topic, with all possible versions people can imagine. There are some very good documentaries (that you can surely find on Youtube) you should watch, it goes more deep that in this article and are easy to understand.

I wish there were more people interested in the topic really, it is a very interesting topic, as most of the population gives for granted that paper money is a immutable value.

How do you imagine decentralized digital currencies to be banned? They have huge potential in decentralized economy (I mean P2P services). This can't be stopped just by "not allowing".

The full potential of BTC and other crypto currencies, once fully developed, is infinite. When most of the corporations utilize them, it could be possible that the world economy will be boosted and the people will have more control of their wealth. This evolution of money is inevitable.

There will be a time that when even paper is going to get extinct very soon but i am sure that it is going to be a while before that even happens but we cannot deny the fact that when paper money is completely out of the system some natural resources will be happy about the turn of events.

   Very soon, new era is coming and paper money will not be used. People will
change current system and that will happen in many countries starting from
2020, they will lower cash flow and they will relay just on credit cards. Credit
cards are some form of digital money, but Blockchain will push them out
from the business soon.

Every new version of money becomes more corrupt and open to manipulation and abuse.  Even crypto price is controlled by a few whales and exhange bots.

Mainstream electronic money will not be bitcoin, it may be blockchain based but I even doubt that as it restricts central banks and government financial control.

I still have a gut feeling that bitcoin price will be going down and not up overall in 2018.

Money has never evolved on its essence, it was always the same, what changed were the technology and the appearances along the centuries. It was always a necessary and useful tool in societies to make people's lives easier and organized, but it's only worthful since the money serve the ideals and not the ideals serve the money. Money was changed as soon as fractional banking and a debt based model was implemented.

Interesting! I have observed that when it comes to explaining Bitcoin and blockchain technology to anyone, we have to tell people the basics of money and how it works. Perhaps this is only in individual countries have the opportunity to use the crypto currency in everyday life. Although if the question is interpreted differently, then I also use the money obtained with the help of crypto currency, almost every day.

Money is a fascinating subject, and I'm pretty sure that 99% of population can't give an acceptable answer to the question "What is really money?"
(and of course government profit from this ignorance).
The problem with crypto is that - as a decentralized system - is independent from a central power, and THIS is the real revolution (and I'm very happy to be here making part of it :-) )

Correct because people cannot live in these world without money. That is the reason they keep finding a source of income just to live a happy and comfortable life than suffering from no moeny at all. Money is evolving with the passage of time as we are going and shifting to the modern world. Back in 18th century and 17th century the physical appearance of money were limited to coins that can be touched and were valuable. Slowly the money started evolving with the passage of time when governments start a systematic change and fiat currency started. Now in modern ages we are looking at digital currency that is the most valuable in the markets. Bitcoin is an example to the evolution.
