if i will hold bitcoin at a very high price like last year bitcoin reached 250K. If they manage to break through 100,000 $ but I will try to invest more to get more profit in the future. Bitcoin will one day give us a great achievement that makes our lives financially stable. We all have to wait and HAVE our coins till that day.

First of all Bitcoin at 100k$ !!!!!! It will take a long long time. But I'm not saying that it is impossible. If the value reach to 100k$ then I would rather prefer to sell than holding it. The main reason is the profit. Come on you bought for 10k$ and you got opportunity of selling it at 100k$!!! This profit is not so small. Again we all want to be rich. So if you had an opportunity of getting this much profit then why would you not sell. On the other hand the price also may be less that is it may go down. So I think instead of getting greedy for more profit one should sell the Bitcoin at such high rate.

That price is much much higher than any practical prediction made for the year. However, I am more interested in using Bitcoin as a payment system so I won't care while using it for my regular purchases irrespective of the current price in the market. To be honest, it would be a lucarative price if it is hitting overnight.

there is no way you can hold that long...need couple of years to reach that price and while you waiting i dont think you dont need money for your daily needs...you should sell it if it still make profit for you...i think its most realistic than waiting something that may not happen...in 2018 i think bitcoin wont reach $100.000 but maybe on $30k-50k

Well for me if I urgently needs the money I will sell my bitcoin on that price.  Besides that amount here in my country can already gives me a comfortable life to live with.  But if I think that bitcoin can goes up more than that then I will just keep it.  But that is if I have that bitcoin.

If bitcoin will be $100,000 then I will sell, that is already a huge value for long term or short term goal profit.
I don't want to be greedy for more, $100k is very big amount and I think this will happen 3-5 years from now, just think positive. Wink

When bitcoin hist its 100k mark I am very sure there so many bitcoin holder that are willing to cash out some of the bitcoins to feel a more better revenue and for a celebration of it. But before it hit that mark there could be more seller than buyer which will make it much longer to reach. After than the price could have two direction, its will either sky rocket more or will fall due to a huge sell off. I could be one of it by that time but I will sell off maybe just a quarter.

I don't have much of bitcoin to sell it below $100,000 - and will probably do this one year after.
Still have some doubts.. Maybe $200,000 will be a better point?
Please give an advice, your opinion is important!!

PS. It's not a joke. Please be realistic while estimating..
Gonna bring up this topic close to X-Mas 2018.
I never imagined in my whole life that bitcoin will reach $100,000 because it is a really huge amount of money and I don't really think that it will happen this year. This year 2018, seems to be tough, especially for those investors because I've read a lot of articles telling that they lose trillion of dollars this month of January and February because of the falling of price. Most of our expectations this year are the continuing increase of bitcoin's value but the opposite happened. As of now, I'm still observing the movement of the market.

No human can forsee the future.
No one can tell for sure what is the highest price BitCoin will reach.

If I had BitCoins and in nice profits, i probably wouldn't wait till 100,000 USd is reached.
Maybe would sell some at half-way, around 50,000 - IF it is reached
and just hold on to the rest for the long-term..

but if i bought the bitcoin with the price above $100k, just hold it until its price far above

Well, I'm here for long-term holding. I believe that when bitcoin reach that number, there will be no need to sell it for cash. Many people, companies, local shops would be happy to accept it as a payment. So I would rather buy something with bitcoin than to sell it.

The end of 2018 is still quite long, maybe the price you are targeting about $100k will be realized. But looking at the current price condition which has percentage below 10% i doubt if the year-end price will reach $100k.
Even if you don't have a lot of bitcoin, i just suggest that you can sell some of your bitcoin when the price is quite high. Because if the end of 2018 your target does not materialize maybe you have to wait much longer.

If that things happen now that the bitcoin price will hit into $100 approxiametly ,i will sell the half of my investment and continue to hold the other half,so that i would not regret the times when the  value its continously to grow in the crpto market, because i believe by the end of this year its will pass into the target of its value, especially if all the whales or big player will used there influence to growth back again the crypto coin.

If it's strong enough to get to 100K, I'll likely keep HODLing. I don't have a "number" to cash out at, it will more likely be determined by life events and me being able to use the money I've gained in a better way.

Yes i will sell my bitcoin. That is a lot of money on our country. It can buy us a house and lot, pay the school fee of my 3 children and it can even start a small business. I will also save some of it for an emergency fund.

If bitcoin can reach $100,000 then for sure it can more so I would still hold at this price because I don't want to miss my chances

Nice question! That would be a serious challange for me... But I won't sell all my BTCs definitely. Maybe a half or even less, i guess. That would be foolish not to wait to 120,000 or something, won't it?
