I have reached out to a few people who have attempted to help accelerate my transaction along however it does not seem to have helped. Any ideas as to how long I will need to wait? Any advice other than using a higher fee next time?

Thanks in advance.

Pay $4 (they have options to pay in many coins) to confirmtx.com and get it added.

I have no affiliation with confirmtx but both the paid and unpaid services have worked for me.

Take a look at the feedback on that service: https://www.coinpayments.net/index.php?cmd=feedback&sub=view&id=2104d5068ed1259259d08b150f67a7ef&page=1

Almost all of the positive feedback was auto-submitted positive feedback after a month.

Does not seem like a good service.

Yes because people who it works for don't go back to the site to laud its performance. It's only the people who it doesn't seem to work for who get mad.

Either way, suit yourself, I reported my experience. It's $4 on a $1300 transfer in which you already paid $188 in fees.

Well it depends on the amount of inputs and outputs a transaction has, lower inputs and outputs mean lower fees and vice versa. In the OPs case, he had multiples inputs and the size of the transaction reached a whooping 44000 bytes, that's almost equalant to 200 normal transactions. Hence the high fees.
