Howdy!

I am offering 20 ASICMINER Direct Shares for 4.95 BTC per share

Conditions (essentially same as diamondstarfall's earlier auction):

friedcat has been notified of this fixed auction and has been kindly asked to confirm my ownership of 20 shares. No trades will be made until friedcat has read the message and confirmed the intent to transfer. This way there is no doubt I own the shares and on the rare chance there is a dispute, friedcat will sort out as long as there is proof of payment.

After friedcat's confirmation, Buyers on the top queue will have 3 hours to make payment after confirming with me, if buyer fails to make payment or contact me is there is a problem, the shares will be moved to the next buyer on the list.

PMs are OK for buyers wishing to stay anonymous.

I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime, but past bids will be honored if payed within 3 hours.

That's it, folks!

So that is 215 weeks to recover the 4.95.  I'm not sure it is such a hot investment.

I rather buy new blades...

I see this comment a lot.  Why don't people understand how dividends work?  Or why don't they take five seconds to Google it before saying something this stupid?

That explains everything.

BTW, the price is inflated, all you can hope is to sell higher to another sucker.
Someone will be holding that bag in the end.

You're new to the forum, not to the planet.  Procter & Gamble (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Procter_%26_Gamble_brands) pays a dividend of about 3% per year.  At that rate it would take two and a half decades to "recover" an "initial investment".  According to your brilliant investment advice, Procter & Gamble is a bad investment along with EVERY SINGLE STOCK IN THE WORLD.

Wrong again.  I've been around this forum for a lot longer than you.
You compare ASICMiner with P&G.  Nice going.

Just buy these shares at 4.95, what do I care.  Buy them at 10 or 100 BTCs.  It is your money.
Good Luck.

No, I compared a dividend stock to a dividend stock.  This quote is your analysis, which completely ignores how the share continues to hold value.  You don't RECOVER an INVESTMENT from DIVIDENDS ALONE.  It's not rocket science.  I don't give a shit how long you've been on a forum, it doesn't make your financial analysis any less wrong.

ASICMiner might be out of business tomorrow.  See you in the movies.
