Bitcoin platinum set to fork on 12th december.

A hard fork is a process of splitting any currency’s Blockchain . It may be done for several reasons, such as fixing serious security loopholes in a cryptocurrency’s source code, implementing new features and reverting transactions (as was the case for Ethereum’s hard fork after The DAO was hacked). Hard forking requires a consensus of the majority of the nodes within the network of a cryptocurrency, after which they all switch to the new Blockchain, leaving the older version behind.

We have seen a lot of hard forks since this year with good reasons and visions to provide a better version of bitcoin.

But as for Bitcoin platinum one will wonder what the mission is and the cause of the fork is.

Another attempt from those people who wants to gain from nothing. This will definitely become a useless coin after the fork, people already experienced the worst when the price of BCH was pumped by several supporters and most people lost money from it.

Bitcoin Platinum? Ok. There were Cash, Gold, Diamond and now Platinum. What is going to be next - Silver or maybe Brilliant? And when all possible names will be over they will give numbers? I don't know what is the idea of all this forks. I have heard that in December it is going to be two. It is going to be just a new weapon for speculators to earn huge money on the price difference, gossips and the mass panic. That's it, nothing more obviously.
