Currently there are still too many people are in profitable territory, they might entered before $20,when they get scared, they will sell, since anyway they still make some money, but after another several months of consolidation, these kind of people will become less, the rest are all long term holders

Another aspect is that ASIC devices' profitability must drop to electricity breakeven point, so that the invest money can only flow into exchange, currently the mass amount of investment money are going into ASIC pre-orders

Too many people are well aware that it will be back over a hundred again, just a matter of time.  Those people won't be able to sit and watch it drop too low without jumping in to buy.  I doubt it will even see the 50's.

The bottom will likely be at or around $57.

Why? Because $57 was the bottom of the last crash. Moreover there is already a fair sized wall forming just below it. There will be a group of people (like me) that will put in a gigantic buy order the moment the thing drops to $57. Then there will be the normal people that bandwaggon on to the wall that is forming just below $57. Also who in their right mind would sell for lower than the flash crash bottom? End result the price will double bottom at $57.

There was some really positive news in the Press section that did not get much attention today though.  It looks like BTC could take off in a big way in Africa:

But I am always looking for reasons to be bullish so my opinions are probably highly biased that way.

The way the market is looking right now I'd say we are going to bottom out either in the 50s or low 60s somewhere in August or September this year. Don't think we're going into full panic mode and subsequent capitulation, this is not 2011 and fundamentals are looking too good for that to happen imo. Another option is that the market slowly regains confidence and support at 80 until it's ready to move up again, but I think that's the least likely option at this moment. It just feels like there has to be some more bloodshed first.
