So far i have tried over and over and over to get BITINSTANT's new website to function properly. I can register a new account but when it comes to verifying my ID no matter what i put in and select it fails.  I KNOW WHERE I USED TO LIVE and WHAT I USED TO OWN.

Since BI is gone,

Does anyone know any other ways to do cash deposit to MTGox?

I've had great results with Viceroy.  Contact him in IM.  I agree that someone really needs to implement a legally compliant BI soon BTW.

Anyone have any ideas how i can buy bitcoins?

This is really ridiculous. How is bitcoin supposed to grow when u cant even buy them anymore.

Have you checked out localbitcoins ?

unfortunately i live in the most horrible state in the US.

I need to find a cash deposit way to buy BTC's.

IDK why but BitInstant decided to wreck there whole site.
