asrock h81 pro btc

When powered on, this board boots to bios menu every 1st boot. Even with no cards attached.
When you reboot or reset, it is fine and the machine boots, but it the power is turned off it always goes to bios, if you press f10 to save and exit it then works fine.

I've tried everything I know, am I missing something? Heard of this fault before?

Should be a CR2032 commoin flat disc battery.
But check and use what ever is there now.

Use a battery tester or volt meter to make sure its good.

I have two of these boards.

Check your risers if no cards are detected.. one bad riser will bring them all down. If you're getting into bios at bootup.. are you using a usb drive as the boot or an SSD/HDD? If USB, try SSD/HDD, sometimes the bios don't see the USB right away and if it doesn't see the usb drive for boot it'll just go into bios.

Hope this helps.

This is a common disease in these motherboards.
Replace the bios 2032 battery with a new one and configure the boot into BIOS
boot: boot option # 1 USB device
If the boot tab setting is inactive, you need to update the BIOS of the motherboard.
