If bitcoin will keep pumping like right now than that ratio might keep dropping because people will be wiling to sell their ETH for bitcoin and get maximum out of their ETH in terms of fiat. If you have some ETH than its better to wait for next few days or weeks when there will be some correction in bitcoin's price, when bitcoin will correct alts-btc pair will pump. |

I find it odd that eth and xrp are the only top Alts still falling vs bitcoin. How low can they go?
it sucks because it's the only 2 crypto monney i own (eth and XRP).. i should have kept my BTC. went from 1 btc to 0.65 btc... thousands of $ lost here |

Just remember to hold and sell with profit later when it pumps. Still it is odd why xrp and eth are the only top coins that are tanking. Maybe it is not merely caused by btc rising. Rather it was caused by a greater power at work here. As to how far they can go I think they wouldn't drop that far and for this reason it is a very good time to invest in them. I am sure that soon it will go up. |

Usually whenever Bitcoin price is being corrected, Altcoin prices fall more than Bitcoin. That why that ratio has fallen. Now Bitcoin price is rising gradually, In my opinion there is a high probability that Ethereum price in BTC will also rise in coming days.

I do not think there is exactly causality between them. Because the cost of Etheruem can rise or fall as bitcoin rises. So I do not think it's right to say anything definite.

No, just remember when it was about 0,12 each ethereum a few months ago. It is never going to be the same, because bitcoin has increased much more than ethereum during the last time.
It might be dropping to 0.03 if bitcoin decides to go up a little bit more.
Ethereum has been increasing too, but it is not following the real pattern of bitcoin, and that is the reason of why the btc/eth price has been dropping like water from a cascade.
Poor of those people who bought ethereum with bitcoins when it was 0.12 each eth. What a huge loss.

Even ETH's fork ETC is up 100% gain on ETH this month! To me eth is suffering.

Keep both coins until you see your investment grow more than 10x. If you see that then you are in the clear zone. |

if you are doing the more research about ethereum and it is the only coin that follows the bitcoin right now. If the bitcoin gets another pump and the ethereum will try to correcting the value into the bitcoin pairs. But's the bitcoin pairs still the same to the ethereum rate. But it looks ethereum still lost into the bitcoin pair. But another crypto gets a big loss rather than ethereum. The only winner is the bitcoin holders. |

ETH will probably stay at the current level, perhaps increasing in value a bit and shoot through the 0.05 BTC mark which seems to be bothering it at the moment. Though it'll be hard to see whether or not it'll be able to break another all time high. Or, it could go down to around 0.03 BTC before rebounding. If you believe in ETH then keep holding, but personally i wouldn't hold ETH for the long run. |

ICOing is dying - ETH is only following BTC in any rally - and then dumping more than it when it starts to dump. But there is a new hope in Kryptokitties - it is a really show off for Ethereum technology, and I have a feeling that it'll become a huge internet fad.

ETH will probably stay at the current level, perhaps increasing in value a bit and shoot through the 0.05 BTC mark which seems to be bothering it at the moment. If you believe in ETH then keep holding, but personally i wouldn't hold ETH for the long run. I think so too, Ethereum had been in the same current level or within range for a couple months now. And it might increase a little bit and hoping too see if it reaches a new ath but seems like it is having a hard time reaching that goal because of btc who has been increasing more than it should. I do have a couple of Ethereum but I am slowly selling them. |

Before people were saying when bitcoin price raises ethereum price drops and when btc drops, ethereum raises. But we understood it is not true at all. ethereum is a strong project and still bery popular for icos. So it will keep raising up independent from bitcoin price.

They better try something new since we knew the icos were not going to last forever, lets see if they can come up with something that really works, something that needs to use ethereum and that many people would want to use. |
