Look at the hype for that DeepOnion scam. They have none of the features that Spectre has, in fact they stated earlier they are afraid of Spectre, which has real anonymity and security implemented and just does not brag about it like DO. What is missing is a strong supportive community.

I would say neither of the above. Check out Zero instead. IMO it has the best chance to at least x10 since the community has taken over.
Check it out on this forum. Extremely exciting.

 PIVX,
 XVG,
 ONION,

Which privacy coin has the most potential to 10x?
I think Zcash is probably the first one to get to $10,000, but it's easy to worry about the regulatory problems of the international government.

DeepOnion has no anonymity at all, it only has TOR and that only covers the transmission. Blockchain is openly traceable and that DeepSend they talk about does not exist, it's a straight lie in everyones face. The whole thing is a copy and paste garbage coin that is hyped up with the goal to sell 14 million of premined coins at the highest price.

In my opinion Zcoin has a very, very serious infrastructure for anonymity, although all of the above mentioned coins also have it, but in this issue I'll probably choose all the same Zcoin. Yes, and for the price he probably still does not concede to Monero, but it's not for long.

If only the coins in your list can be chosen, I will go for Monero and ZCash due to the strength of their coins and their leadership in privacy

Well, in some moments, our thoughts coincide with you, so you can probably say that ZCash will enjoy quite a strong popularity, Time will certainly show.

And strong development team. Some of the other coins mentioned should not exist based on unprofessional execution, scammy founders and fake news or anti-competitive practices.

XSPEC maybe new but its technology is ahead from its predecessors,XMR and other old privacy coins are outdated.

As far as speculation goes, the undervalued privacy coins have the most potential, like cloakcoin or zerocoin.

But when you compare them all up to each other, Monero wins hands down.
It's got the best tech and the widest support.
It has active development with actual community approved forks that have improved the system.
It is also the currency mostly used on the darknet. it's just the best.

As crypto inevitably gets more controlled and regulations start flooding in, privacy coins will become much more valuable.
In the end, the ones with the best usage and tech will win over because with privacy coins, how you are able to use them really does matters.

With that in mind, dash, verge, and spectrecoin don't have much of a long term future.
Especially verge, that thing is so ridiculous.  Mcafee tweets about it and the value rises?
Talk about pathetic.

Of course you are right in your statements, but now it's such a time that people do not even understand how to just invest their money in projects, so as to get some profit. But they are mistaken in their thoughts.
