With moves like this all they're going to do is just push more and more people into using Bitcoin because they prove themselves to be a bunch of monopolising scumbags, I'm not surprised at all they're doing this, they're freezing peoples bank accounts too.

I never thought i would see this day!.. Funny enough my vpn provider still accepts paypal.. Luckily btc too.. Whats the saying. if youre vpn provider doesn't accept bitcoin youre at the wrong vpn provider! Whats is not clear to me is the legality of this... How is this legal for them to single out an industry and target them! A legal industry. Lots of businesses i work with have their employees use a vpn when overseas to access the work network and proprietary info! I wonder how far we are from an all out ban on encryption! I can see it now... Its for the children.. to save you from terror ...we must read every email, every webpage you visit, ever conversation you have, every video you watch, every book you read, every course you study, every place you go, and every thing you could potentially think must be recorded and cataloged forever. .. i guess thats a whole different matter but .. With moves like this all they're going to do is just push more and more people into using Bitcoin because they prove themselves to be a bunch of monopolising scumbags, I'm not surprised at all they're doing this, they're freezing peoples bank accounts too.
Bitcoin users shouldnt be pushed to use it.. They shouldnt be pushed to use tor or vpn services either but here we are! perhaps this is all a part of Agenda 21 to push people towards a universal currency designed by the NSA The meltdown has to occur before all that.. the are propping up the dollar, hell they are crashing the markets to save the dollar. http://oathkeepers.org/oath/2013/06/22/fed-crashes-markets-to-defend-against-dollar-collapse/ People are sleep than a motha....

I think the problem they figured out they had was that there was plain nothing likeable about the Muslim Brotherhood....the group that spawned Bin Laden and the entire set of Islamic murderers of today.

Agreed!
Meanwhile in America the Restore the 4th protests brought out 400 people that showed up at any given location and they where pretty much ignored and not even covered by the media. Im sure holding up a sign that said boycott visa and mastercard would have brought a chuckle.

^^ From my understanding, they are selectively targeting vpn providers using a certain payment gateway.. or just selectively targeting vpn providers overseas! Im just wondering how long the rest of the world is going to sit there and act like a lil ... Eventually one would think there would be some blowback and companies would start boycotting US based services but... Visa and mastercard have a foothold so ingrained into the fabric of society's its gonna take a movement to get a considerable amount of motion! It may take a social movement.. a community based and possibly a politically powered movement!! Maybe a BITCOIN movement! ---- Unfortunately America is busy watching american idol, dancing with the stars, nascar, pierce morgan live, the nba playoffs, the superbowl or some other distraction that has people paralyzed and dazed and the issues come and go like a commercial thats on high volume but gets ignored like the line up of side-effects from a big-pharma adverts!! What was that: may cause liver damage, blindness, insomnia, baldness, heart attack, skin rash, kidney failure...
America: --->>>> can someone pass the cheez wiz and bacon, the third quarter is about to start!

If true, that tells me that all of the continental US VPN providers are under surveillance whether they know it or not.

Dangerous path they going down, cutting off their toes to save their face won't work for long, if they can't stand any more when they run out of toes.
As already pointed out VPN services are a legit business, are they going to suspend all computer hardware sellers next because hackers use computers? Sounds stupid, but it's the same logic they seem to have used with VPN it seems.

Im not sure where the source of their stance is coming from but.. its worrisome in nature. If the thought of banning encryption is pondered ..let alone enacted or proposed. Btc would take a knee, and be de-knighted on sight!

Very interesting, and it does seem to point to an overall strategy, but this isn't anything really new, though. Socialism and all it's little sects, has had powerful adherents throughout history. Even though it keeps on failing, each successive generation keeps on pushing for it because they think they can do it better, and then they fail and start lashing out at all those they think kept them from succeeding even though it was their own flawed philosophy that failed.
Nothing new to see here, just be sure to keep your eyes and ears open.

Fixed. Unless you are trying to claim credit card processors are socialist.

http://www.pbs.org/newshour/businessdesk/2009/05/who-owns-the-credit-card-compa.htmlThe credit card companies are publicly held company's ..as stated in the article Mastercard for example had an ipo in 2006. But the "source of their stance" is not from their shareholders, or it does'nt seem it! The reasons for them to selectively target a payment gateway or an industry or a country or just country's overseas would pretty much cause an outrage if it was public! But the sources is not publicy... surely these vpn companys arent breaking the law. Just imagine a how many executives use vpn services to access work networks while they are on their yacht! Im pretty sure they didnt have executives in mind while going ahead with a ban tho.. Im just saying selectively targeting people, company's, industry's, country's or even networks seems a bit ... whats the word im looking for here? discriminatory!
