Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Nice video and keep up the good work, I was interested in mining until the recent difficulty increases, and I had also checked out that site, but the cost versus potential BTC's seemed in favor of buying over mining.

Yes, we seem to be on the cusp.  Either prices go much higher from here or we get a large drop off in mining.
