If you cannot find any official documentation or statement from Bittrex that lists this phone number, then it is probably a scam.

+447 are UK mobile numbers.
Bittrex isn't UK owned (I thought it was American)? So it is probably a scam.

EDIT: It's listed as bittrex's support number, a bitcoin blockchain support number (don't get how that works?) and a HP support number...). I'm guessing none of these are accurate.

I've contacted their support about whether they allow phone calls and if this is their number. We'll soon find out whether this is legit or not. I very much doubt it is legit and would probably result in the person trying to use social engineering techniques against you to get into your wallet.

Since Bittrex support is flooded with tickets because of the recent account verification enforcing and issues, I think that it'll take quite a while until you'll get your answer.
Until then it's safe to assume it's an overtaxed phone number or another type of scam.

Hello,

I have contacted 1 (800)6321348 which I found in the Internet for bitfinex support. An Indian native Eric Fisher answering was  claiming to be the bitstamp phone support.

After description of the Problem he asked to share my desktop with him for remote Control.
Unfortunately I followed  the instructions of Eric and after he was finished all the wallet was gone!! Plus Login to bitfinex Account was deleted!!

He claimed then that the withdrawal of the wallet would be transferred back after 24 Hours. In Order to do this he wanted to have access to desktop again which i denied.

Can anyone help me or has similar experiences? There is a reward for successful help in bringing the BTCs back in the amount of one BTC.

There is a contact info in the bittrex terms https://bittrex.com/Home/Terms, under section 12 Feedback:
Quote
If you think that anything on the Services, including any Feedback, infringes upon any copyright that you own or control, you may file a notification with Bittrex's Designated Agent as set forth below:

Designated Agent: William Shihara

Address of Designated Agent: 6077 S. Ft. Apache Rd Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89148

Telephone Number of Designated Agent: (866) 554-0350

Fax Number of Designated Agent: (702) 749-5871

Email Address of Designated Agent: bill@bittrex.com

I bet they are fake.

LOL. That's one of the oldest scams that exist in the internet.

1. I can't find anything connecting Bitfinex to this number in the internet.
2. Did you actually download a remote control software and gave access to your computer to a stranger in the internet?

You can actually read more about this scam here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technical_support_scam

Can anyone help me or has similar experiences? There is a reward for successful help in bringing the BTCs back in the amount of one BTC.
Recovering your coins should be pretty impossible.

Both US & UK support/hotline numbers are fraud/scams !

Lousy trick :-(  to steal money by remote control of computer via phone

Be aware of that and inform in your social-media-friends accordingly

Secure your account also by 2-key authenticator
