Hi All

I had delivery of x4 S9's November batch.

As normal i went to set them up, just IP reporter, set static IP, pool data etc.

Usually withing 2 mins system data fills in ALONG with hashrate/boae thisrds speed.

This batch will not allow the boards to connect ? There is NO red led on the boards, they do come on when powering on BUT if you have the Green led/Normal flashing and no red leds on board it WILL NOT show them ??

I have left two run for hours and nothing.

I have just had one to run by putting my central heating on and placing miner on a VERY hot radiator !

This is NOT RIGHT...My ambient temp to 'set them up' is now 25c.

Heated another miner up, booted fine etc, flashing green led ON but nothing on cards ??

Anyone else have this problem ?

Cheers

As noted elsewhere this was common on the R4 boards. Looks like Ant screwed that up on whole shipments.

I wonder if a flux and reflow would fix it.

ALL my four are bad, its madness heating a miner/pcb up, then once attached fan's kick in and cool them !!

Where do we go from this ? These were EXPENSIVE and should not have a problem.

VERY angry with Bitmain !!
