i added a new card, now it tells me that.

Is this card properly working ?
How did you plug it ? Riser ?
Did you install the correct drivers (for mining) ?
What are your cgminer settings ?

miner settings are at defaults, no risers. drivers are correct, card works just fine, only moved it from one rig to the other.

I think the setting line is wrong in cgminer, could you type exactly what is your command line ?

delete any *.bin files
delete or rename config.conf files

try running cgminer again with minimal flags/settings
