Hi,

I have new mining rig with one HIS redeon RX vega 64 Air Black Aktiv 8Gb GPU and one Radeon RX 580 8 Gb card.

Rig: CPU: Intel Celeron, 20 Gb RAM, 120 Gb SSD, WIN 10 64bit, 850 W PSU
Mining software: Claymore Cryptonote 102 beta
Pool: ssl: xmr-eu1.nanopool.org
Drivers: v. 22.19.659.0 (well known blockchain Beta driver)

I am mining XMR.

---

By default my Vega hashed about 1,150 H/s, so I have:

I have aplied: DDU
I have applied: atikmdag-patcher 1.46
I have tested 6 different registration entry files for overclocking in windows registry..
I am using: OverdriveNTool 0.2.2 for overclocking (please see picture: http://i67.tinypic.com/211lcom.png )
I have increased virtual WINDOWS memory to 60 Gb
HBBC: On; aprox. 17000 Mb
Windows virtual memory set to : 60Gb min & max
I have even swittched the other GPU off, just in case it is disturbing the vega.

I have tried : XMR-STAK-AMD with multi threads, CAST XMR, Claymore ... all combos of voltage and frequency modifications suggested on forums with each mining software... nothing!  I just can not get VEGA hashrate over 1,660 H/s. I have tried every tip from forums, I could find. I am trying for over a week now, 2 or 3 hours a day...

I have tried everything suggested on forums to obtain 2,000 H/s, but it seems I am doing sth wrong.

Can you please help me?

Thats weird because all you need to follow is the guide on the monero reddit. Here is a link to the one i followed:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MoneroMining/comments/74hjqn/monero_and_vega_the_definitive_guide/

Have you tried the device manager disable/enable trick?
Here are the basic steps:

1. open device manager
2. click on display adapters
3. right click on your vega
4. click disable
5. wait 3 seconds
6. click enable

Tell us how it goes.

Thanks;
I tried that;
Now I am getting 1700 H/s rates. Worked a little bit. What else you think I should try?

It occured to me that it might be sth wrong with GPU, but I did not exacltly buy it cheap, so I have not checked taht yet. It was  priced comparable to other cards.
Second Vega 64 is coming next week and only then I'll be able tol compare.
This time it is the PowerColor RX Vega 64.
I will post here results. That might be interesting comparison.
