designed and created HydroCoin to be the currency for the hydrogen age. It will ensure that future clean technology will be used with clean fuel only, without the need for the use of fossil energy. HydroCoin will be the first currency that enables the owners to decide what technologies will be supported by the community. When products appear from such technologies (i.e. gas, hydrogen, electricity etc.) the owners of HydroCoin will be able to buy energy-products from all supported technologies using HydroCoin as a currency. HydroCoin stands for clean Hydrogen, not for water. And new technologies will produce hydrogen from biomass, wind and solar energy.
With optimized electrolysator efficencies.
The price for hydrogen at gas-stations vary very much. Hydrogen from fossil source is sold from 9.50 Euro per kg, Hydrogen from regenrative source in sold for up to 16 Dollar per kg in California.

But Fuel cell cars are a lot mor efficient with energy than cars with combustion engines. One Kilo of hydrogen can last for more than 100km driving range. So gas price compared to actual cars is already equal.

Hydrogen from biomass will turn many farmers on this planet into clean-fuel producers. Combines with optimized electroyser-technology this will be a real chance to turn this world from fossil fuel to clean fuel.

"Hydrogen economy" is a nice dream for now, and it will takes at least three miracles to happen.
First, as pointed out in the article, hydrogen is not a fuel. It is just a means for transportation and distribution. Energy has to come somewhere to make the hydrogen from water. The cleanest way of course is to use sunlight to split water to hydrogen and oxygen or to use solar electricity to electrolyze water. This means to have a viable "hydrogen economy", solar energy utilization would have to be cheap.
