I think the idea that cryptopia is holding bulwark to run masternodes, and that this is causing the wallet issues, is a bit far fetched. Some of the other coins that have problems are not masternode coins - so why are these coins also having issues? A ruse to throw people off the scent perhaps....

Plus the issues with cryptopia have correlated with a substantial decrease in price of bulwark. I won't say it 'led to' the decrease, since there are other factors, but having your major exchange for trading your altcoin under maintenance for weeks certainly hasn't helped. Any gains from masternodes could be lost from this price drop, and would not be enough to justify the behaviour of cryptopia who are losing their customer base and huge listing fees from other new coins that may take their business elsewhere.

Now I'm not defending cryptopia - they've obviously screwed everyone over and around a month of wallet maintenance is completely unacceptable.

But what is far more likely is that people have a confirmation bias against cryptopia, because they charge altcoins $200,000 for a listing but can't deliver on technical support, and people therefore assume the worst in them and imagine scenarios where they keep your coins forever or secretly make masternodes or something similar.

Wallet back up on Cryptopia! Looks like it's synced up and showing correct block height! I haven't tried withdrawing yet.

*Edit* I also notice several other wallet updates on Cryptopia. I would venture to guess that they have been working behind the scenes to bring multiple wallets back online, and maybe were waiting until hardware upgrades were completed. I did notice a brief downtime for the entire exchange earlier today, a sign the servers had been restarted.

My bwk wallet in cryptopia isn’t in maintenance anymore, but the balance is all wrong, I have a lot of coin and it’s showing just 1.32 coins.

Anyone is having the same issue?

Anyone know what they meant by COB?
Close Of Business
End of the day, in clear.

To those who don't see their Bulwarks: it seems doing a small deposit makes craptopia find your former BWK

Well, it's good there is a work around. But having to send a small amount of coins for your old coins to show up certainly isn't an ideal fix. This whole ordeal certainly brings the competence of the Cryptopia IT team into serious question.

Yeah. Greedy exchanges will pretend to works well with small amount deposit and withdrawals to attract more traders. Then it will go to right time for getting money with larger transactions.

Sure does. Do cryptopia even know why send a micro transaction helps 'unlock' your missing coins? I mean, it sounds like the wallet address needs a transaction to come through to 'refresh/activate' it or something like that - you would think cryptopia could do that on their end without some weird work around being needed.

Untill this time i have 20393 confirmations.
But good news Cryptopia Support answered to my ticket

- Opened:2/9/2018 9:27:17 AM
- Admin replied: 3/2/2018 5:11:10 AM

Please be advised that this is a bulk response due to the high volumes of tickets received regarding email problems

Thanks for contacting Cryptopia Support and we apologise the delayed response.

We understand that there is an issue that has impacted BWK deposits following a scheduled maintenance. We are still in the process of resolving it.

We do appreciate your patience on the matter and are looking to resolve the matter for all users as soon as we can.

We thank you again for your kind understanding and patience on the matter.

I'm really disappointed with the Bulwark price at the moment (19000 sat it is real dump). Was it problems of Cryptopia only? Or it was problems on Bulwark side? Most imortant question - How to avoid the same problems in the future?

The coins aren't there they are being used as nodes by a cryptopia employee or owner. I don't understand why people don't get it yet

There is nothing to "don't get it" ... You don't understand because you are making assumptions with no basis on fact.

Cryptopia had problems. That was a major cause, but not the only one. For awhile volume was higher on Crypto Bridge, so the problem became a market problem. People were simply buying and selling lower.

Bulwark had a problem but it was fixed almost immediately.
