Yea are a bunch of people who mined for nothing due to this wrong chain issue. Not looking good, might not get any bulwark until it's fixed!

This is weird.
I got a "mined" reward of 8.75 in my masternode payments address.

Masternode rewards are also labeled "mined" but they are 21.875 these days, and I still get those regularly

the devs should have a statement on this issue. they must provide an official statement on how they will solve the splitting of chain. aka spork. so that miners and users will help each other to address the issue. hope this issue will be solved immediately. i want to mine bulwark again.

Very true, anybody mining right now might not get any BWK at all due to orphaned blocks. We've been advising in our announcements and in any communications that mining right now is high risk high reward gamble. We would suggest looking elsewhere for the timebeing if you would like safe/guaranteed mining income.

Welcome to the team, friend!

Try doing the following:

Windows key + R

%appdata% and press enter

Bulwark folder

Delete everything except wallet.dat and masternode.conf

Run Bulwark-qt again

If you have further problems, I cover this at the end of the video here (5 minutes long)

We've noticed this, seems to be a result of the chain split - I'm not a programmer myself so I can't give you a exact reason why it happens but I can tell you we are aware. It should fix itself with the chain fix, if not it would undoubtedly be our #1 priority to fix.

the devs should have a statement on this issue. they must provide an official statement on how they will solve the splitting of chain. aka spork. so that miners and users will help each other to address the issue. hope this issue will be solved immediately. i want to mine bulwark again.

Multiple statements have been issues on all of our platforms, are you in Telegram or Discord?

We always post up reports on our blog anytime there are issues with the network, this event should be no different.

It's likely that you are just on a different chain to the explorer, please don't touch anything unless advised otherwise by a developer, and you should be brought to the same chain given time.

this is one of the many problems bulwark dev team refuses to address or solve, scamcoin alert been on since the cryptopia problem.

how exactly have we refused to address it?

We even put a fix in place, which only failed because people didn't update their wallets.

You're not reading threads and having problems because of that! Please fix this asap!

That goes to the rest of the users that arent updating their wallets and slowing this fix down aswell. Yer being retards, dudes.

And if you think i'm a devpet or smth, read back in this thread some pages to see me burn devs for no/late info. This time its not the devs, its users being stupid af.

Just got a question for the dev team about the issue that is affecting BWK.

Why users not updating their wallet is affecting the BWK blockchain?
This sound a bit off for blockchain technology.

Can you explain?

Okay,

So we used the spork "RECONSIDER_BLOCKS" to resolve the issue, however, to implement this we needed a supermajority of the network to update to the latest version. In hindsight making this a mandatory update would have been a better method albeit more centralized.

As this hasn't been successful so far, we are strongly considering releasing a new update 1.2.3 which will fix the issue, but will be a mandatory update. This was "Option 2" on Eatbattery's announcement.

I hope this was clear for you ^^

UPDATE

Just wanted to keep everybody up to date. Due to the number of wallets needing to be updated to 1.2.2 and with the numbers we've seen, Option #1 is going to take much longer than we'd prefer.

As such, we'll be going with Option #2. We are currently testing a new mandatory wallet version tonight and will be releasing tomorrow. Please keep an eye on our Discord, Telegram, Twitter, Wechat, and Bitcointalk threads as we will announce and provide a link to download the new wallet on these platforms once it is ready for public release.

Small Update

Just to pre-empt anybody with a keen eye. Yes, the pools have updated to 1.2.3.

The pools need to be updated a little before others, the download will be available to all soon-ish. I'm sure there will be a bigger post about it when that times comes!
