489k premine?
Red flag, I'm out.

If you followed the project closely, you would have noticed... that the Premine is just helping us to get through the first year aswell as helping us releasing the Secure Home Node (which is already released). Also keep in mind, that most of the Premine goes back to the community via quizzes, bounties and game Events which are happening on Discord and Twitter - Since we are already talking about Twitter... we shouldn't forget about marketing here.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

LOL GTFO out troll.

yeah someone needs to understand the dynamics of a true premine and coin history/work ethic, not to mention legit count and price.

489k premine?
Red flag, I'm out.

It's become pretty apparent that because of ICO boom there is no way a pure crypto-currency (one launched with own chain right away) can't be functional at launch without a premine.

When these ICOs can just raise millions with no chain and then pay for exchange listings, development and marketing with the money they received they gain a huge advantage! Do you know how expensive it is to get listed on exchanges now-a-days?

Yes it requires some trust in the core team but they have massive incentive to stay transparent and open with the community, its the only way the coin and their investment grows.

you forgot to mention the historically high rate of ICO scams and that they usually still keep a large chunk of the premine after distribution for "further funding/future development"

We don't need to be concerned with ASIC resistance considering we switched to Proof of Stake in June.

Go to the data directory you chose during initial installation, make a copy of the wallet.dat file that is in there, store it somewhere safe and secure.

BWK came back on my radar after seeing your roadmap include some i2p aspects. How far along give or take do you think you are with the i2p stuff?

Please remove the seesaw mention from the title of this thread. It's no longer accurate.

i have mined for a while this coin but my chances of getting a masternode in a decent amount of time only with mining were very slim. are masternodes still on if you switched to proof of stake? in theory masternodes and proof of stake go against each other as reward systems Grin
