I have one canadian maple leaf, one 50g pamp suisse gold bar (this has been opened by me because I'm stupid, so I guess it's worth less), and one SMI 1g gold bar.

What is this worth to you?

Noo! You opened it Sad. It's still worth a bit, but it's a shame that you opened it. My grandfather has a big collection, he used to go to auctions and try to snap them up cheap. I should go over there and note down the collection. However, it's pretty large.

I may be interested in buying soon, maybe a gift to my grand father.

Do you mean a 50g Pamp Suisse silver bar?  The one in the picture claims to be Fine Silver, not gold.  There's a big difference in value there...

50g silver is 1.6 troy oz, so you have 2.6 troy oz silver, and 1g gold.

Gold is at $40 per gram spot, and silver is at $19.75/ troy oz right now.

That puts the total melt value of your collection at $40 + (1.6 * $19.75) ~= $71.60, with actual value somewhat higher due to it being in not-bulk-metal form.

Would you do 1.0 btc shipped to the USA?

Oh sorry, I was thinking of the gold when I said silver.  Typo.  I wouldn't have let anyone pay me $2k for this, though.  XD

How about 1.1 BTC + shipping?  I only say plus shipping since I'll have to ship it registered mail, unless you don't want to hold me responsible if it gets lost.

Where are you shipping from?  If it's in the USA, I'm comfortable with Priority Mail uninsured.  Shipping would be to the Seattle area.

Let me think about it.  Not particularly looking for high cost over spot metals, tbh.

That's fine.  USPS small flat rate boxes are around $6 to ship at the post office.  How about 1.1 btc shipped?

Wait, aren't you looking for FPGAs in another thread?  PM me and we can discuss.  I'm always happy to take metals as a partial trade for hardware.

I'll do 1.1 BTC shipped, but it would be a lot easier for me to put it in a padded envelope with a label printed offline (I think it would be first class).

It looks like we might be trading metals for an FPGA.

Also, I want to avoid shipping internationally.  It would probably cost like $50 and might get lost.

Awesome, I'll ship it when I get home (3:30 ish).

It seems as if getting that put option at $80 was a good idea.
