Hi everyone,

Has anybody had some experience in getting different account balances with the same btc address in desktop Jaxx wallet and Jaxx mobile wallet?


I recently installed a desktop Jaxx wallet and generate a new bitcoin address by default in Jaxx wallet. I copy the address and send to my friend for him to deposit. After that, I install the mobile Jaxx wallet in my phone, I use "Pair Devices" function in the wallet. The mobile wallet prompt me to enter 12-word phase to finish the pairing step. Then enter the phases and I found that the pairing is successfully.

I can see both desktop and mobile wallet displaying the same bitcoin address.

After a few days of confirmation in blockchain, the transaction can be viewed on some blockchain explore such as blockchain.info. I finally see my balance in desktop get updated. But In my mobile wallet, even with the same btc address, the balance is not updated.

I am not able to figure out the reason behind. Can anybody help me?

Most likely just an issue with Jaxx... it seems to have a lot of bugs/issues. You can try and contact Jaxx support and ask them why their wallet shows two different balances (I suspect their answer will be, reset your cache Roll Eyes)...
