There are a lot of altcoins competing on that space.

1. Litecoin
2. Bitcoin Cash?
3. Vertcoin

That is just some of those I have researched.

Litecoin and Dogecoin have known for the cheap and fast transaction. I suggest you don't support/ participate in any kind bitcoin fork like bitcoin cash or bitcoin gold since it makes detain to bitcoin development ecosystem.

Stellar Lumens. Transactions have a very minuscule fee of $0.000000421240 to prevent network spamming and denial of service. Transactions send and confirm in just a few seconds. It's also a trusted coin in the Top 20 market caps.

you can also consider coins like dogecoin, reddcoin they are cheap too.

to outsmart transaction costs in just one way, buy dogecoin because there are no coins that have transaction fees as low as dogecoin

How does having a very miniscule fee stop people from spamming or DDOSing the network? I'd imagine that with very low fees people can easily send a million transactions for a very small amount. Are you saying a million transactions sent that way will not affect the network at all? XLM or any other token with low fees are actually more susceptible to DDOS disruption.

ETH !! Although the current price of ETH can be considered quite expensive, but transaction fee for ETH is still cheap, you can change your BTC first to ETH, lots of exchanger accepting ETH
You can check exchanger list, here : https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum/#markets

Why not turning to Litecoin — the fees for transactions of this altcoin are very small. You can also use Ethereum. ReddCoin as I know has almost zero commission for transactions. You can also exchange tor BTC for some alts with even a profit. Just check for the pairs in exchanges.
