I'm looking for opinions on these coins:
- BMC
- POWR
- MOD
- SYS
- STRAT

I've already read whitepaper and have done some research by myself on MOD and POWR tokens. I even already invested in MOD for the long term, will probably invest into POWR but first I need to research STRAT, BMC and SYS to decide on my further steps.
Also I participated in BMC ICO and it's price dropped a half since then so it could be a great opportunity to buy.

Other than that what are your personal candidates for the long term?

From your portfolio, STRAT is an interesting and promising one. Try to increase the number of STRAT you have, I can say. You can also add ardor, litecoin, ethereum classic and monero to your portfolio. It will be a better one.

You have a great list. I think you should bag more BMC and STRAT. Good luck Smiley

Great picks, I like it. Especially Modum (still totally undervalued) and Stratis. Sys is also a great choice. My portfolio is also only built up on longterm holds. I'd consider adding Iota and Lisk since they will be going ways in 2018.

I would like to suggest you to add some Litecoin too when it drops. It has potential to compete with bitcoin in the future. It is trusted, popular, faster with low transaction fee. If it does, there is a huge potential.
Another suggestion will be DEEPONION. I am not saying it because I have a signature of DeepOnion. Just visit https://deeponion.org/community/  and you will know why. It is a TOR based anonymous coin with a huge community of 6,000 members already in 5 months.

I like your pick of Modum since it has real world useage. The problem for the MOD token though is that they may have a hard time getting listed on the real big exchanges since it is a dividend token. COSS.io (small exchange) had to delist it after they found out about the dividend. It is already on many good exchanges already so will be fine Smiley

But have you done the more research about BMC development? if the developer is doing well and the price should not be decreased a lot. If there will be a pump to the bmc and i will move to another promising coin just like quantstamp or crypterium.

Straits good for hold, and you can see on Straits thread about their future development.

Straits price never below ICO price, and now is good chance for you to get more token because the price still cheap.

Bitcoin price highest make Stratis down so this is your chance before to late.

IOTA and WAVES are best to go for long term but you will never find the another altcoins in the market which is best to invest for long time. If you want to go with the cheap coins you will not sure that we can find those coins is top in the market in future. In long term and short term option you can go with the Neo, XRP, XMR, Bitconnect and other top coins. Always try to keep away from the cheap coins.

NEM: 2018 will be great with further adoption and the catapult upgrade.
Stratis: same story, releasing a lot of their tech in the coming months.
IOTA: can be huge if adopted as the number one protocol for IoT. May even surpass bitcoin.
SHIFT: can explode if they are first to market for decentralized hosting.
ARK: great team that delivers, may become really relevant for interoperability between crypto platforms.

Very bullish on coins above...

Why you didn't add any of the main alts in your long terms? Are you thinking that they obsolete or there is another reason?

I find your list reasonable and can add IOTA and NEO.

I think you should add comment on those picks of yours, for me I think Strat will not do well long term, I believe by now we should have seen more products from the team, also I don't think they are real talents on their team to help scale their platform
