It's true but offering escrows isn't the way to step into the community to build rep you need to be providing other services which can be escrowed by more trustworthy members and build up a rep that way.

after a long time I was in this forum I still don't have courage to offer myself to be an escrow and finally I found this 
Someone paid me more than i should got, i should get paid 0,0005 but he send me 0,005 and after that he want me to send back 0,003
