from my points of view, it BTC could reach this ATH (100k or more) it makes no difference if you buy in at 500$, 1000$ or even 20k, correct? Why, because the people keep asking if now is too late to buy bitcoin?

Please remember that we have only ca. 17 Millionen BTC in summary, not more!

what do you guy think?

So, if you spend $10k now on buying Bitcoins, you'd get 1 BTC.
If you spent $10k on buying Bitcoins when it had a value of $1000/Bitcoin, you'd get 10 BTC.

If the price rises to $100k, you would've turned your money into $100k if you bought at $10k/BTC, but into $1 million if you bought the Bitcoins at $1000/BTC.

There are 2 main reasons that people keep asking: "Is it too late now to buy Bitcoin?".
>Post-Farming: It's an eZ subject for a Post-Farming Mega-Thread.
>Opportunity Loss: Everytime Bitcoin rises, an opportunity is lost. People don't know if that opportunity might arise again, or if it will grow further. It might just as well sink to the bottom of the Universe within 2 days.

That's what I think.
Yes.No one could exactly predict what would be the future price of bitcoin. That makes the user to get a little bit confused. Also, there are lots of FUD in the market misleading the investors.I could get the OP's point that whatever high bitcoin price may be,its going to rise but investing at a very low price makes the difference.

That was what happenning in the market. We were never late to accumulate bitcoin. We were all welcomed in bitcoin's supremacy in the world. If you assume btc price will go there, no matter from what price you got your bitcoins.

We also have to remember that price can go in both direction not only upwards so we shouldn't panic during small correction or dumps and should buy more coins during such dumps. Also we shouldn't buy bitcoin when price is pumping hard.

Bitcoin is store of value which can be kept safe without trusting any banks.

This  make people keep asking its too late or not? Because bitcoin can go into 2 direction so not only upwards.
How if we buy price then price down? So not going to $100k? Its the problem.
So dont only think about upwards but please think also about downwards.

I think that is a positive way to look at it, that even if you buy now it is still cinsidered low, still we must find the best way on how we can increase our profit even without thinking that bitcoin will reach 100k usd, we should not get complacent on things that are happening now, we should still make a better plan and strategize in order to have a more profitable gain by the time, that bitcoin reaches 100k usd.

Yes, BTC can go huge or go zero, but remember that it‘s nine years old now, and there is no prooof that it could go to zero, it does not have any issue with inflation, so why it should go down?

The big problem now is tax while cash out. You need a perfect strategy to cash out if your moon is something around 100k, if you want to hold more then for sure you need to think about how to keep it in secret as if it would reach 100k then there is no way to stop it.
At the moment it‘s not easy to cashout 50BTC for a big house or something!

Ok, vielen Dank!

Still buying in at a BTC price of 10k$ for 1000$ (which is already a lot for a many people to put at stake) and netting 0.1 BTC feels kind of lowballing compared to buying 1 full coin, be it ETH, BTC or whatever. Its a psychological thing.

People who want to invest 10k$ might go and buy 1 BTC, people who only want to invest a few 100 or 1k$ are in doubt because their return of 0.xx BTC just seems so low.

Its a psychological thing for a lot of people imo. People said it was too late at 100$, they said its too late at 1.000$ and they certainly say its too late at 10.000$, and trust me - there wont be less posts about it once we hit 100.000$

Why not, even if it would reach 100k, it‘s still possible to start with Finney :-)

Yes you are correct, that's why people keep asking if it is too late to buy bitcoin, but I think it is never too late to buy them as of now yet because the market is still new and there is a lot of room for growth in terms of bitcoins price. It could go all the way up to $100k in the future, so if you want to buy bitcoin right now and invest it then go for long term then I don't think it matters to buy as of the moment.
Yes, i am a HODLer not rekt ;-)

The amount of Bitcoin you get will be different if you compare it by buying at $ 500, $ 1000 or $ 20,000 but it does not matter if you believe Bitcoin will reach $ 100k

now it's too late get into Bitcoin?
those questions persist today, and recurs every time Bitcoin prices rise I think this is a regret of them for not taking the opportunity to buy Bitcoin with the previous price or selling Bitcoin too early. Regret will make them hesitate to buy Bitcoin even though they predict the price can still rise

Now still remain the best time to buy bitcoin and hold as the bullish momentum keep on increasing and we are having a good time since the inception of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. I have been trying to convince my friend that now still remains the best time to buy and when bitcoin raise to $500,000 you can now sell and become a millionaire in your local currency.

And this is the entire basis for holders, the special breed of extremely long-term Bitcoin advocates who don't just see Bitcoin as an investment but an ideology and a way of life. It has never mattered to them what price Bitcoin is. $100, $1000 a year ago, or $12,000 today. They will accumulate Bitcoin as much as possible, but will equally see great value in selling, using, spending, transacting as every use aids the cause, increases adoption, spreads knowledge of it and ultimately self-serves their interest.

If you believe in it, then it's never a question of when or at what price. If you don't, then this is just a fleeting game for you to make you dollars.

Indeed, for holders, it doesn't really matter as the price constantly increase but it's not the case for traders since we're discussing it on trading board where people always looking for profits by trade every cryptocurrency which fluctuate a lot, even bitcoin as its price reach $11,600 a few hours ago and suddenly drop back to $11,500. However, it's not so profitable to trade bitcoin if you don't have big capital due to the high price of bitcoin. Since bitcoin futures will be launched, trading bitcoin will be the game for big whales and not for people who have a small amount of capital, but it will be better if "small traders" just hold bitcoin for long-term and prefer to trade altcoins.

Why not just grab the opportunity of being one of the early buyers and just dont think about what else could happen.
If you already knew that bitcoin is going until 100k dollars then why wait? You are already here and you are filled up with information unlike others out there who dont even know what else could happen.
They might even think this is the highest amount it can get but thanks to a forum you have been informed a lot.
Just invest now and profit later. If you still want to buy bitcoin at 100k then do it also but you have the opportunity now, dont waste it.

I think buying bitcoin today is a good decision since the price are still moving up and who knows bitcoin may reach that price. Bitcoin is really unpredictable the only way to ride on this trend is to invest on it and for sure you can make good money on this.

It has difference.

The one who bought at lower prices will definitely get the higher reward obviously out of their capital for let's say the quantity involved is BTC1 and they sold it at $100,000 at once. Back to reality, there is no such thing as late entry as long as the investors goal for long term and knows how to deal with the risks associated once they entered bitcoin investments.

I agree BTC is going to 100k, but here's a very careful thing to consider: Will the real bitcoin remain Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin Cash, or some other fork? You don't want to end up holding the wrong bitcoin when the price hits 100k. Do a bit of research about the current issues facing bitcoin to familiarize yourself with potential future events. Bitcoin Core has a huge transaction backlog and major scaling issues. Whether or not it's the dev teams fault or not is irrelevant, the coin is very slow and expensive, and a lot of sites that used to accept Bitcoin have stopped doing so. As an investor, you need to see if the current BTC will be able to scale to levels where it reaches 100k or not.

BTC will reach 100k, but with which team is another topic.

I think you should buy some bitcoins instead of asking this question:) Aynway, if Bitcoin price reaches $100.000 the things would be complicated on that day. So buy now and wait.
