Hi,

I thought I'd give Bitcoin a try. So I downloaded a wallet from Bitcoin.com. I then requested a purchase of about $210 worth of Bitcoin. My bank posted the charge on 11/30/17. I never received the funds in my wallet. How do I see the funds or where they're at or what happened to them? I have been going back and forth with Simplex's support, and they have been unable to tell me anything beyond "check your wallet again" and "the blockchain shows that you should have already received your BTC". Here's my blockchain URL: https://blockchain.info/address/17A9bbjvnDGUod3AQiYugLFzeTia93kN9P .

Please let me know if you have any ideas as to how I can find out what happened or where the BTC is?

Thanks,
Jon

Obviously the the 0.02 BTC you have bought are in your address:
https://blockchain.info/address/17A9bbjvnDGUod3AQiYugLFzeTia93kN9P

Total Received   0.02001179 BTC
Final Balance   0.02001179 BTC

Now, is that your address you have asked Simplex to send BTC to?
Is that address yours?

If both are correct then it must be a problem with your wallet most likely synchronization
They have a support thread here (although it's a bit deserted)

I believe that the Android version of bitcoin.com's wallet (I don't know about the Windows, OS X or Linux versions) now sets the wallet to receiving BCH (a different cryptocurrency) by default.

However, your private keys and addresses will be valid on both chains.

If you have accidentally received BTC to your BCH wallet, try exporting your private keys to a more trusted BTC wallet.

Looking at the link you posted to the wallet address it does look like the bitcoin was deposited into that wallet.
I am assuming you have your private key to access the wallet correct?

The wallet address you posted the link to says it has 0.02001179 BTC in it.

I have never used the wallet from Bitcoin.com so i'm not sure how to go about accessing it but I imagine it is like most other wallets.

What i would do is confirm the wallet address you created on bitcoin.com is the same address shown in the link you provided.

It takes a little while for the bitcoin to get to your wallet once it was sent because it needs to get a certain amount of confirmations before it will post onto your wallet.

Again I would check to be sure the wallet address you created on bitcoin.com matches the wallet address in the link.

Good Luck, Hopefully someone who has used the wallet can chyme in as well.

Clearly what is said on your wallet it does have 0.02 Btc on it 200$+. I think the sync is taking too long with your mobile wallet? do you have your private key? If yes, Try to imput your private key on a Blockchain.info wallet then.

Thanks for your replies. I can see the address shown in the blockchain in my personal wallet's addresses on the app. It's listed as an unused address. Any suggestions as to how I can pull the funds from that address?
