DinoDirect China Limited (http://www.dinodirect.com/) is one of the biggest global online retailers. It offers a great quantity of products at competitive prices by cutting out the middleman and offering products directly to the consumers.

I don't know them myself, but is this really true?  Sounds like big news if so!

EDIT: After some googling, they don't seem to exactly have the best reputation... Hopefully this is still good news. Huh

I am discovering first hand why they don't have a good reputation.

They asked me to pay an additional $50 for shipping an item which was marked as 'free shipping'.

While I was in the process of negotiating with them on that (I agreed to meet them half way and pay $25)  - they have come back to me on a previous order (which I thought was shipped)
and are saying the shipping is $70 - but because I am a 'valued customer' I only need to pay them another $50.

Beware. These guys falsely advertise their shipping rates.  Definitely seem either shonky - or at best - incompetent.

edit: After I got quite snarky with them in email - they brought the extra amount I need to pay down to $25 - but they want me to pay with paypal.. ugh :/
My warning still stands that the price you see in the final order is not always accurate - but at least their support seems quite responsive.

Ouch - thanks for the story and the warning!

Out of curiosity now - did they accept payment for the purchase in bitcoin?

Good news. And they also presented bitcoin to their existing customers.

I paid in Bitcoin.   They also let me pay the $25 for shipping using Bitcoin - by 'purchasing' a $25 jacket that they won't ship.  (I asked them if they could create a fake product in their catalog for me to buy so I didn't have to use paypal).

Basically - while I was annoyed about their website being misleading on shipping prices, I'm pretty happy with their resolution. They do respond quickly.
I have already received a cheap tablet I bought from them with Bitcoin... and I'll probably buy a few more things from them, but in future I'll confirm shipping prices with their live support before placing orders.
