buy only altcoin because of the bitcoin is currently down. If you already have an advantage then just switch later to return at the time of the bitcoin bitcoin already in position ready for rising. as long as there is a chance then use to invest into other coins.

Should I hold Bitcoins Or should I buy Altcoins with it.
And Why ?

What's your take on it ?
you should hold bitcoin because bitcoin value going increase  very fast.  bitcoin will reach to 50000$ tell February 2018 and don't go to other altcoin.

No one is better than the other, both are profitable why? bitcoin's price has proven its worth and gain over the past years while altcoins have much more pump but there is no guarantee with it as there are alts that dumped.

Bitcoin or Altcoin?
Both are good, they still have good prospects for growth, and have good prospects for the future too.
Hold bitcoin, a lot can happen to bitcoin value even while you sleep. But do not underestimate its altcoin and its fluctuations. Altcoin currently, it has tremendous potential.

I also think that if you took btc to $ 2000 when the cost was. You don't need to go into altcoins. If you spring for 2,000 bought it now the price has reached almost 20 thousand. X10 for ten months great. And keep it a year or two will see the price in 100.
Invest now in altcoins someone who has little money a few thousand, of course bitcoin now buy expensive. But let's say buy something like ARDOR can

Well you can buy altcoins as an investment, but be sure to read a lot and don't just buy some random altcoin that is pumping today and dumping tommorow. Altcoin exchanges are like big casinos when you are there is something simmilar to gambling (if we are talking about those reffered as shitcoins lol).

Look at this way it is easier for an lets say XMR to double in price which will result in your investments to double. If you look at bitcoin it is much harder for it to hit 20k for you to double your money on it. So by buying alts comes greater risk but also better return if all plays out well.

Or take for instance some altcoin that cost 0.1$ its easier for it to go till like 0.5 or even 1$ for you to earn good amounts of money but also higher chance for it to go lower and you can lose money. But again reaserch is necessary as many people tend to advertise their coin that they bought - many coins don't even have something extrodinary implemented in them.

Don't just look at the price per coin but look as how many coins are in existence and look at market cap.

If you are not familliar with altcoins I'd suggest you to simply first read a bit about them before investing because you don't want to throw your money in and hope for good return.
Oh well I think your right.
You really need to spend a lot of time in researching on what altcoin are good for investment.
And if you think no one suit your standards,
The I will suggest that you better hold bitcoin than invest in altcoin.
Because if you pursue your invest on the wrong altcoin definitely you will just loss your money.

Diversify your portfolio, keep some BTC but invest in some undervalued altcoins. Stay away from the brand new ones as they represent a much higher risk, read and study the older ones. Among these, try to select the few which are still being developed, have a steady community and a stable price. This will minimize your risks, and might prove to be very profitable.

Definitely correct. If you can still hold bitcoin, and buy altcoin in the same time. I think its much better. Because holding bitcoin nowadays are a good idea because of its promising price in the market. Aside from that the amount you can earn from it can be a great help also. But investing in altcoin is also a good option to have more income. So if you could handle both why not to try.

I bought altcoins with it , because i think there is more room for growth . If it is the right choice i have no idea , it will depend on the project you invested in also. We will see in a couple of years.

Half of my bitcoin, will go on buying some altcoins, because there are some altcoins with good projects this year, so If it has a potential to moon by next year, it would really give me huge profit, and if the altcoins I bought goes on moon I would immediately sell it in exchange of bitcoin, then I will hold the bitcoins that I earned.

This depend on how much profit do you want? And do you take the risk? If you want to your investment is safe you should use all your money to buy Bitcoin which will certain profitable in the future.
If you accept to risk you should invest in altcoins. Although Investing in altcoins is risk but it can bring much profit than bitcoin if you know the way how to choose a good coin.Because In the crypto currency market you can see many coins which increased 10x - 20x in short time
My personally you should use 50% your money to invest in bitcoin and 50% remaining invest in altcoins.

I will buy some of my bitcoin for altcoin and hold the rest, so i can earn two earnings. Moreover with we have two or more cryptocurrencies this can anticipate the decrease in income. For example when bitcoin prices fall but altcoin price rises then we don't get the problem from it, because it was replaced by altcoin.

At the moment I think you should keep bitcoin instead of buying altcoin. As the current trend bitcoin will continue to increase in the coming days. At present altcoin is heavily impacted by bitcoin and the need of the market is investing more bitcoin.

Either will do, as we are seeing massive profit from both. The best option however is always to diversify. If it was the bull market that started this year, then holding more to alts would be your best bet as you could have gotten to almost a thousand percent increase than if you held your money in BTC. Bitcoin went up so high after though so maybe it's time to have most of your holdings back to BTC.

There are some alts however that are resistant to bitcoin's rampage in price increase and they are better to hold than most alts. One example I can point out is DeepOnion. It started out below 1USD and spiked to an ATH of 5USD. It went to a dip and slowly recovered back, reaching back its previous ATH levels, and that was during the time that BTC was having a bull run to around 12-13K USD, where most alts' price fell lower. The reason behind this is that there's a strong community backing it up and never selling a piece of the coin, keeping the price to stable levels. DeepOnion has a very large community that believes in the project. if you're interested you can join in via this link - https://deeponion.org/community/. You can get some coins for free if you participate in their two airdrops, the main and DeepPoints one given each Sunday. Hope to see you there in the forum!

In short, read about the tokens that you will want to invest to. Do not just go with what is in trend and is popular now because many coins are being introduced that are not valuable and is not worth to invest for. Look for altcoins that have proven that they are profitable and look for coins that will likely to stay longer because it means that there is room for income and profit. Don't just invest to avoid loosing more than you will earn after understanding what you will just do which is investing.

Keep your bitcoins in your wallet while the price is still soaring into new level. Bitcoin will give you more profits during this time of unprecedented growth. If you made enough profits then you can start investing in some stable altcoins like ethereum and ripple.
