Keep your bitcoins in your wallet while the price is still soaring into new level. Bitcoin will give you more profits during this time of unprecedented growth. If you made enough profits then you can start investing in some stable altcoins like ethereum and ripple.

If you have low capital to inverse you can choose the altcoin. Then you can buy a less amount of bitcoin and then change it into altcoin. If you directly buy a altcoin means it's no use.If you buy a bitcoin and hold it then sell that when the price reaches maximum means you will get additional dollars. With that all dollars you can buy a altcoin.

Should I hold Bitcoins Or should I buy Altcoins with it.
And Why ?

What's your take on it ?

Definitley spread you portfolio.

Everyone seems to be talking about being careful with altcoins and how bitcoin is the risk free alternative. I would highly disagree, bitcoin is way over inflated, if you atleast spread you portfolio over some good coins you're less likely to lose your entire account.

BTC is unpredictable. I hope it will go down after New Year, too overpriced, but can go 20k+ instead easily. I sold all my bitcoins for much cheaper price.

My opinion also coincides with the views of other participants of this topic that it is better to keep their money in bitcoins, it now has invested a lot of investors, the price is steadily growing. In Altcoins is more risk at this point in time.

Its totally depends on you, but my advise is to go altcoin and you must have some bitcoins, hold bitcoin for longterm purpose, and altcoin for short term, both will reward you better return.

I would rather advise you to hold some bitcoins and also hold some good altcoins such as ONION, ETH. They will pay you eventually. Take a good advice.

I'll leave you a bit of information though. Personally I like leaving majority of my investment money on bitcoin because it's a safer investment. Not saying that altcoins are a bad investment though, it completely depends on which coins specifically you invest in. There are good and bad ones. Also, take note that altcoins are like high risk:high reward, in my opinion.

Well you can buy altcoins as an investment, but be sure to read a lot and don't just buy some random altcoin that is pumping today and dumping tommorow. Altcoin exchanges are like big casinos when you are there is something simmilar to gambling (if we are talking about those reffered as shitcoins lol).

Look at this way it is easier for an lets say XMR to double in price which will result in your investments to double. If you look at bitcoin it is much harder for it to hit 20k for you to double your money on it. So by buying alts comes greater risk but also better return if all plays out well.

Or take for instance some altcoin that cost 0.1$ its easier for it to go till like 0.5 or even 1$ for you to earn good amounts of money but also higher chance for it to go lower and you can lose money. But again reaserch is necessary as many people tend to advertise their coin that they bought - many coins don't even have something extrodinary implemented in them.

Don't just look at the price per coin but look as how many coins are in existence and look at market cap.

If you are not familliar with altcoins I'd suggest you to simply first read a bit about them before investing because you don't want to throw your money in and hope for good return.
nice advice mate.this is such a good message from a concern co user.but i prefer holding the bitcoin until end of this year..i think thats the best idea for now having bitcoin huge price and still moving up we should but alt coin next year after bitcoin price drops

Hold most of your bitcoin but buy some altcoins with some and preferrably fiat. Bitcoin should
be a core holding.

Dont focus on just one cryptocurrency. Dont spend all your btc for altcoins, btc is for long term holding investment it can make you very rich in the next 2 years. You can buy altcoins partially using maybe half of your btc holdings, this is to have a higher chance of faster profit. You need to choose altcoins whos on the list for top 20 or those coins who has a higher volume of trade daily. Its always good to diversify your investment coz it always make good profit, it can also cover your lose.

Do both. Buy bitcoin, hold it for some while and then buy Altcoins with profit gained from holding BTC.

For me hold your bitcoin it is the safest coin in market that can give you certain amount of profit depending on your investment, but you can do both, holding bitcoin and at the same time investing in some altcoin, but be sure to invest in altcoins that gives you good return of your investment just give a check in every coin your planning to invest, in that way you can decide which coin you would invest in.

Do not spend all your bitcoins on altcoins. Keep at least half of
your  investment in bitcoin.

Would this discussion be different if you could buy altcoins with usd or usdt?  Thus you don't need to first get or have btc in order to get altcoins?
