According to my opinion if you have enough knowledge regarding trade then also buy some altcoin and hold them,If totally depend upon one coin mean you limit the resources.Some part hold Bitcoin for long time some part of investment trade in altcoins to grow your income.

Holding bitcoin and buying altcoins at the same time will do you nothing but good. As a matter of fact, will do you super good. This is a win-win situation. Bitcoin is here to stay although it's value is like a see-saw (up-down) but nevertheless it is a really good investment. On the other hand there were altcoins that are showing possibilities that you can use for trading.

Feels more likely to follow bitcoin down to a final correction than go up. But that's based on gut feel rather than analysis. I don't see this overall correction being this short.

I say 50/50. Invest in both BTC and good altcoins. Investing in good altcoins has I think faster ROI, of course when you really researched about the coin youre gonna invest to. BTC is a long term investment.

It's great to always have some bitcoins because they are the most stable and reliable, and you usually need bitcoins in order to buy any altcoins. So I think its a good idea to have bitcoins available when you find an alt coin you want to invest in.

Similar to stocks, it's a good idea to have a diversified portfolio. Alt coins are similar to penny stocks to me in the sense that they are much riskier but have a greater potential for profit.

Sell your bitcoins and buy altcoins when the price of bitcoin is going down, and sell your altcoins to buy bitcoins when the price of bitcoin is going up, vice versa.
Go with the flow follow the road that will give you high profit.

buy its own weaknesses bitcoin regarding high price means requires a large capital anyway. If buy altcoin I think more promising because the price is still relatively low and will rise even higher than before.

I keep some part of the capital in bitcoin. It seems to me it's a pretty good strategy which allows to buy alts during corrections. Altcoins grow much faster than bitcoin so around 60-70% of my deposit is always in alts.

I'm doing the same but I'll have to admit that holding some BTC might not be a bad bet, if you believe in the future of the whole crypto currencies system.

So IMHO the best bet is to hold a few BTC and spread the rest of your investment in PoS v3 coins because they represent the future of crypto coins generation.

I think it will be a year altcoins, you have to buy altos and keep them, the first quarter you can catch a lot of X.

if you have large fund then hold some % of bitcoin and ethereum ..

if not then do buy altcoins with low marketcap and high potential coins .

also diversify your funds into 5-10 altcoins .

if it were you I would definitely sell a bit of Bitcoin mine, and then buy Altcoin, because now Altcoin like Ethereum, Ripple and Stellar have increased considerable valuation, but all back to you...
