So why solo? 7mh would take 2 year to hit a block?

Simple  that is a smaller pc   with an old windows 7 pro and an old cpu  with a small  gpu. It was not used for mining until this year.
So I consider it to be 0 cost item.

But the gpu  earns  75 cents a day,  The solo mining  cost well under that.

So I run the pc making 60 cents a day with a shot at a solo block  works for me.

Also  I am feeling lucky.  I may add more sticks as time goes on.

I got one from asic puppy =  crazy guy

I had one donated (thank you)

I want to show  viable reason  to have these sticks.
I also had the usb hubs from eye boot from sidehack's sticks

the silver one on the left  is the older usb2 model
the black one is the newer usb3 model
I also have the large 49 port model

as the winter sets in  I will  expand this just a bit  and run a few sticks on each usb hub

You know I designed this with a fan built in so you don't have to come up with clumsy external fan solutions like that Wink The built in fan can handle up to 800-900mhz no issues, your running at stock 600 Wink

i too have stuck a couple sticks on solo..

i did notice that after cranking them up to 796 speed they run more stable and are less prone to jamming up and needed restarted..

at 796 these run right at 4.5 so 2 would be 9 mhs..

this is the odds to find a block at 9 mhs

Solo Mining Stats
Expected Time per Block   7687 days 13 hours
Probability of a Block in 7 days   0.12%
Probability of a Block in 14 days   0.24%
Probability of a Block in 30 days   0.52%
Probability of a Block in 365 days   6.11%
