Litecoin wallet charges a fee when sending money?

I had to update my litecoin wallet, so to be safe I created another wallet on my second pc and sent all my litecoin there.  There was no charge.  Exact same money appeared at the other end.

I then updated the wallet on my main pc and went to send it back but it wanted to charge a .02 ltc fee.

Can anyone explain how this all works?

The 1st time there were enough coin-days to get the payment processed without fees. The 2nd time it was not enough obviously.

Litecoin isn't much different.

Thanks, I considered there might be some such policy, like there is with withdrawing from an atm.  If anyone knows the litecoin rules pls post them here.

You need to check fee opption! I think, you can change it, but may be wait for long times to confirm!
