The price of bitcoin is once again breaking new all-time highs on Sunday, December 3, 2017. The decentralized currency has rebounded considerably as markets touched an average of US$11,800 after it dipped below the $10K region just five days ago.

The bitcoin price train is moving northbound again, testing uncharted territories. Global trade volume has been high at roughly $5-7Bn traded every 24-hours for the past few days. At the moment one bitcoin is trading between $11,550-11,650 per BTC, and markets are up over 5 percent since yesterday. The top five currencies swapping the most BTC worldwide include JPY, USD, KRW, EUR, and USDT (Tether). Today’s trade volume is around $5.3Bn with Bitfinex, Bithumb, Hitbtc, GDAX, and Bitflyer capturing a vast majority of that share. Cryptocurrency proponents seem fairly optimistic right now as bitcoin has also helped push up the price of the top 14 digital assets, according to data website Coinmarketcap.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Nothing new anymore. This entire year we have been reaching newer highs constantly, and very likely continue to see this happen until we reach a point where the market doesn't want to pay these prices anymore. That time will definitely come since we can't just keep going up without seeing the market correct and consolidate accordingly. Maybe that we'll see it happen once we reach the $20,000 level, and from that point see the market correct all the way down to $10,000 which hopefully will be a new bottom by that time. It could turn out to be a pretty decent opportunity to cash out profits around that level, which I might end up doing.

Things are not going to stop any soon now, the price hike is real with the new users updating everyday it seems Bitcoin is getting popular everywhere. Few folks are talking about it, some are investing and some are searching about it. Recently, google also admitted that people are widely searching about Bitcoin. The jump from price 4k USD to 10k USD in 2 months, is making everyone think about Bitcoin and its future due to which everyone is investing and making its value exceed new limits.
