Even today with current price most faucets pay very low reward, at the moment when the owners are trying to find a balance between income and expenses. Most of them use hiden mining script to increase income, but since many antivirus software block it this is not long lasting solution.

As price go up rewards go down, and with 50k$ per BTC I do not know if there will be any faucets. But people are resourceful and they will maybe find the way how to continue run faucets.I think that such big price will attract even more users in cryptocurrency, and they always seeking the easiest way to get some free coins.

Faucets are nice way to start and exploring how cryptocurrency is work, free coins will always be free coins no matter how small the amount is.Just remember few years ago at BTC price of 200-250$ you can make 200 000-500 000 satoshi daily very easy-convert that in today price and you have 25-60$ per day.

As the USD price of Bitcoin increases, the rewards that popular Bitcoin faucets payout decreases accordingly. Sites that would pay 50-70 satoshi per claim last year are now paying between 15-20 satoshi per claim.

If the price of Bitcoin continues to climb to $50,000 USD, the value of 1 satoshi would conceivably be higher then these faucets could afford to pay out (per climb) compared to the ad income they generate.

Any thoughts on how will these faucets deal with payouts when 1 satoshi is worth too much?

Let's be real, where there is a will there is a way and faucets have been making money for years off of this kind of stuff. If bitcoin becomes more valuable, all that does is give them incentive to change the rules, pay-outs, games, ads or whatever they're already doing to compensate for the price; I see where you're coming from "Once a Satoshi costs too much will they be unable to pay-out?," the answer is no; they're just start issuing out site-credit that breaks down Satoshi into even smaller fractions, forcing you up to at least 1-Satoshi before you can withdraw or something of that vein.

They'll start making you do multiple cycles/ads for a single Satoshi, make their ads longer, more complex, more interactive, more demanding, their entire system will tighten up, but continue business as usual. If you've ever heard of Neobux or other PTC-sites, they hand out $.0001 for some ads, and obviously they can't give you less than $0.01 other than their made up site credit.. It would be kind of like that, until enough people just got sick of it, bored or decided the faucets have tied a noose around themselves.

You are absolutely right about the decrease in claims from faucets as bitcoin price increases. I once experienced this with dogecoin when I started newly in crypto. It used to be two doges per claim until it was decreased to 0.5. But really, faucets are a complete waste of time if you asked me

At this rate, making use of bitcoin faucet will be a waste of time to those seeking free bitcoins. You waste your time clicking free ads and solving captchas which generate revenues for the website but waste your own time. The free satoshis given out have been reduced that by the time you actually earn enough bitcoin to withdraw the bitcoin transaction fee will discourage you. You can never earn something tangible using bitcoin faucets.

Most faucets are just a waste of time. Never really pays out. There were some legit sites before but now, i guess its very rare.
If the price reaches 50,000 maybe their payout would be lesser in terms of btc to compensate for the price.
