It is predicted by me that as unemployment continues to rise the IQ of those who are unemployed will also continue to rise in correlation. It is time to approach the high IQ societies and get them to accept Bitcoin as payment for membership dues.

I ask those among the cryptocurrency community who are active members of these societies to also mention Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to any member who is unemployed or bored. Also please add to the list of societies if I've missed any.

Regardless of the other points, it would be a useful boost for Bitcoin to be accepted by the "high IQ societies".

as little as I appreciate these societies and less the OP's hypothesis, an endorsement by them, the pirate parties, the think tanks, the presidents, the universities, the Alexa-high-ranks, the … whatever has influence to its direct associates and beyond can only be good for bitcoin, so go for it.

Personally I consider it better to have people that are considered intelligent to consider bitcoin a good idea than to sell the idea of bitcoin to people that themselves consider themselves intelligent more than anybody else.

Do we want Bitcoin to be something only used by drug dealers, prostitutes and conspiracy theorists?

The goal should be to attract all the brightest people on the planet to the Bitcoin source. It's for marketing but also because it's better for the world if we get really high IQ people to actually l think about Bitcoin.

Guess you didn't get my point. Maybe as a non-native speaker I shouldn't try to make complicated sentences, so here again in simple English:
I don't care how smart somebody thinks he is. I like when important people like Bitcoin. I like when people tell others about Bitcoin. I don't understand your unemployment part.

We should also approach the "i'm really fucking cool" and also the "I'm rich" societies.  Self aggrandisement is totally satoshi style right?

You'd think these societies would be cutting-edge enough that they would ALREADY accept bitcoins, along with a variety of other digital forms of payment. From what I've seen though, the truth is quite the opposite; they tend to be heavily reliant on old-school methods of communication and interaction, and not terribly interested in (or even able to) change. Some of their websites are glaring, painful examples of this.

That said, I'm still all for bitcoin-aware members trying to generate interest within the groups. Sometimes it's not lack of interest so much as no one ever bringing something up.

We should also approach the "i'm really fucking cool" and also the "I'm rich" societies.  Self aggrandisement is totally satoshi style right?

We would probably get quite a bit of mileage out of it if we really could generate interest within a couple of wealth-oriented societies, or even just groups of popular celebrities. High-IQ societies? Probably not nearly as much mileage.

Bitcoin is the ultimate freedom test. It tells you who is giving lip service and who genuinely believes in it.

So your idea is to get more unemployed people into the bitcoin speculation game?

They can't be that smart or they would already be a part of it - unless they are so smart that they don't see the need for it!

Maybe its better just promote to everyone and avoid creating a presumed hidden agenda and ideology?

Personally, I would have thought its when the stupid population (the 95% of us who don't need to get our ego massaged in a group thinking club) that bitcoin will actually see success! Wink
