Great full page article about BTC in todays Sunday Times Business Section (UK). Lots of interesting stuff with the general theme being that BTC is stage one of an evolutionary process.

I like how you provided a link to the URL ... LOL. There is no link. The Sunday Times Business Section is part of one of those old fashioned things called newspapers. Ask your parents what they were.

One interesting story came up during the article which was that early on in BTC's history, some guy paid 10,000 BTC for a pizza. Betcha he isn't laughing now. It would be interesting to hear of other stories from those who have been involved since the start. If there are any on this forum.

The difference is that land has intrinsic value. Bitcoin has none. Its only long-term value is as a currency. Currencies have no value if they aren't used as means of exchange.
Unlike land that's expected to be associated with natural resources, the value of "empty land at the center of a city" is often based on the economic activity that surrounds the land. Roughly the same for Bitcoins.
