I hold bitcoin because i know it will increase. Technology and future money is already here. so i just buy and hold no need to think short term, i always think long term for bitcoin.. i'm not gonna sell anything till 2019

to hold bitcoin is a very wise decision, why? because it can cause of price hike, many newbie people in crypto are getting panic when the price of this bitcoin decrease and they are simultaneously selling their bitcoin that can cause of price drops. so why not to hold your bitcoin for long period of time to see how many profits that you can get by holding your bitcoin.

Holding bitcoin had been very beneficial and profitable for us who have been saving since we started earning here. I started when bitcoin was less than $1 000 and look at the price now. I had sold so many bitcoin before because of financial needs and I do regret selling because if I have hold it, I could have earn more. Good thing, I still have bitcoin left in my wallet to hold. Holding may be risky but this is how it works here and between crypto currencies. Anyways, it looks like that bitcoin will continue to rise so it is a good opportunity to hold now, hold as long as you can because the higher the price of bitcoin will be, the more people will be interested in it.

About the panic selling, as a newbie trader once, it is really alarming when you are just starting and is really hoping to earn and then bitcoin suddenly goes down. SO before the price really goes down, they will sell hoping that they will still be able to earn a profit.

Yeah, for those who have been here earlier and still earning or buying and then holding, I am sure they must have attested to the fact that holding seems to be a more interesting thing to do than to be panicking and allowing some whales to spread FUD to their own advantage.

So far everything is fine, it is so glaring that someone who has been doing pretty well from the onset would have been able to store up something tangible that would have increased hugely in price over time and who knows, for those here now, anything is still very much possible.

Hold because of we believer in the power and potential of bitcoin because it serves as a currency for us in the internet world now. It also gives us superficial benefits in terms of investments and opportunity for people to develop not just on financial but also mentally. Also we know that the demand of bitcoin is tending to increase more and more because the public and media are getting hyped up by it now.

Yes bitcoin has a great potential to increase higher than the price now. So with that I believe that you must hold your bitcoin no matter how risky it is because anytime it will dump but it will definitely increase. Holding bitcoin shows how patience you are and you faith that bitcoin will increase

People who think to hold bitcoin in the long run might not always profit as there is always a chance for the price of bitcoin to drop a huge amount overnight, the way to profit is to grab the opportunity to sell at a high rate and purchase more bitcoin for holding during a price dip.

I will hodl bitcoin because I know the price will be increased for a long term and although I don't know how much the highest price of bitcoin, I will still hodl my bitcoin for a long term and I hope I can give my bitcoin to my children. I don't think that there is any reason for us to not hodl bitcoin unless we don't trust bitcoin. I believe with bitcoin and I am sure that I can make some money from bitcoin and this is why I still trying to earn more bitcoin.

I believe that it is a better idea to hold than to sell. Why? because the market value of bitcoin is exo3cted to be more expensive in the future since the demand from the market is getting higher as more people are getting interested to bitcoin. Allot of bitcoin user here are saying holding bitcoin is better for long term profit,
not holding bitcoin means you spend them so their is no profit to look for coming in.
You can try lending out bitcoin for profit as well.

I agree. It really safe holding btc. The shifting of price is really amazing. The price of bitcoin at the start of 2017 is pretty low but the end only proves that bitcoin is really unstoppable. You will never regret your investment.

We should HOLD bitcoin rather than to sell even if the market value is already exoensive because as the demand is increasing, chances are high that same thing will happen with Bitcoin's market value so it is exoected to be more expensiv3 in the future and obviously, holding will be advantageous than to sell at this moment.

Holding has really proven to be more effective than selling.  For those who were even having a hard time saving when the traditional system was in place will even have a better reason to even save more now, knowing that we have arrived in a market where things are getting even better and you can save up the little that you have and see it increasing hugely in the future. It's hard to believe but holding bitcoin is one of the best way to earn a lot of profit. Since bitcoin value now is continues increasing I guess we have no other option. Savings and holding bitcoin was depending to the owners and I think more them are expecting that bitcoin price were growing up more, so they still holding it in the future.

There is even nothing hard to believe there. It is either you hold or you sell and whichever one, the price will end up increasing anyway. So in that case, it is just the best option to hold irrespective of what happens and for those who may see panicking as the best option to sell, I would rather use that as a best option to buy up more and make profit.

For me with this increasing graph of bitcoin's price, i think it is better to just hold and wait for the right time. It is a good idea to hold for a greater income of investments.

In fact, that is a good enough reason to make sure that one does not make the mistake of panicking. I am not sure what the market is going to be like now with the introduction of the CME futures, but the activity itself does not affect the growth of bitcoin and even if any of these guys want to manipulate the market, they will only end up getting what they ask for which is a whole new game entirely.

Every day you work and you get a certain salary every month. But it does not happen one day. It rises differently every day and it falls in a different way. It means that you have two people working and you can bring the total of 2 months salary that they bring to you in one day. so it is not a big enough reason to hold in your hands to invest in something with such a big profit margin.

I will hold my bitcoin because I want to earn more money. It is a very simple way but it is very effective. It is also an easy way yet risky because we are not sure up to when bitcoin price will pump. If it drops I just tell myself “it is not always drop, it will also pump”. Maybe it takes time but I don’t mind waiting.
The only reason I will not hold my bitcoin is because I need a money to spend. Like in this month it is Christmas and I want to give gifts to my family and of course for myself so I withdraw. But I did not withdraw it all. I just took some bitcoin in my wallet. I will continue holding the rest.

Yes now we are very close to touch the price of $18k which is likely to achieve in next couple of days so keep on holding your coins as there is now no doubt that it can even achieve the price of $20k by the end of the year so if you sell now then you will regret when you will see much higher price in future so to make higher profits you should hold it longer and not sell it right now.

HODL it why? Cause you wont know unless you try. Bitcoin doesnt have much risk to begin with you just need to have the patience and endure all that intimidations youre dealing with. Be responsible for what have you done.

Hold if you are too busy to pay attention to possible peaks but its also quite feasible to sell on near highs and buy into dips and still be within a bullish trend.   The reason not to hold is the gains from trading are quite alot more then just blind holding and the market is such that volatility does not make rebuying a rare occurance.  Its more a case of will you have the guts to buy into the low price when everone is fearful

It makes more sense to rebuy but some find themselves better off just looking away and not paying attention they are less likely to become fearful and miss out on gains.  I guess that makes sense but only with money you dont need ie. literally forget

My rough estimate for a sell off now would be $11,441   but appraise that at the time and usually there is time to buy on the return to a positive gain.    Right now I would not sell above $15,000 as this is a point of strength generally but its all open to interpretation.   This market is very liquid at centralised exchanges but I dont like how fees are so high preventing normal transfers between individual wallet holders.  

   Strength will always be in the longterm diversified network, thats the backbone the rest is flabby fat no wonder we wobble so much

Of course that seems to be the most convenient option in these times of great volatility, because even if the bitcoin suffered a sharp correction in coming days, the price increase has been so great that we would certainly close the year with big profits. However, given the great news that bitcoin is making a world mainstream, it seems to me that there is a greater possibility that the price will continue to climb towards the threshold of $ 20,000 before going back to $ 10,000, so holding seems the best decision.

However, it would not be a bad idea to cash out a bit of your bitcoins to have some liquidity these days of uncertainty.

Holding is not only easier, holding can give more profits than active trading, many people claim that you can make more money with trading and while that is true, how many people are able to make more money than those that hold, not many and this is why I like holding better than active trading.
