Shipping beats perfection. So "ship" and then improve (that 1%).

Nr 3 connects to the same PSU with the SATA connector.
I recommend not to use this wire that came with the riser but connect directly from your PSU.

Could you write down your model of your PSU?
Then I could make a schematic how to connect all the wires.

The riser pictured is supposed to be powered with a 4-pin molex connector. It's just they already included a molex=>sata adapter as well. Which is not recommended to use unless you 100% sure that your particular card draws very little power via the pci-e slot. Otherwise just disconnect that adapter from the riser and connect the riser to the PSU directly with a molex cable.

Riz, i'll save you a world of pain.
Do yourself a favor and throw that #3 SATA cable in the bin.

Then read this link: https://www.reddit.com/r/EtherMining/wiki/hardware/risers

Now repeat after me "Do not use any included harnesses that converts to SATA"

Your local fire department thanks you

I have Corsair HX1200i. Would really appreciate if you could make a schematic diagram. Risers/GPUs is a big grey area for me and I am full of doubts, fear about that.

Hi bigjee,

Thanks. Great help indeed  Smiley

Understood that ver007 mustn't be used.

Can you please advise which type of cable should I use in place of cable #3?

#3 is just a molex=>sata adapter (it's obviously detachable). Your riser needs a molex (4-pin) connector, so just use one of the molex cables straight from your PSU.
