Just wanted to see how many people would be interested in a Crysis 2 Tournament, i was think .25 BTC buy in and have 10% of all buy ins go to bitfaucet and another 10% go to the server admin/ref for there trouble, and 80% to the winner.

While I don't have Crysis 2, I think this is an awesome idea. Another good game to try would be TF2, given that anyone can throw together a team. Too bad I still play Quake III.

well i can look into other games, I havnt player shooter competitively sense medal of honor allied assault so i dont know what the more popular ones are (I just beat crysis a couple of weeks ago so it was the 1st one to pop in my head), right this second I can set up servers for crysis, mohaa + expansions, counterstrike source, battlefield 2, red orchastra, I cn also find a way to moderate racing games such as NFS world, most wanted, carbon, underground 2, just to name a few. And of course there always is starcraft and misc MMO tournies (PVP tourny in wow namely, or in eve too).

Ill look into tf2, there does seem to be some interest in this, Ill sit down and come up with a date/time for the tourney as well as some official rules. If its popular enough I'll run a weekly tourney

CS:S ftw. I will Rape you all. CS:S is for pros

No little gay exploits like in TF2, Think about it. If it's best man wins, Nobody playing TF2 will pick Medic,Pyro,Heavy
The map would be flooded with snipers and spys then "the different guy" who picks the scout

Or even worse, We'll have two players pick medic and heavy and team rape the enemies and then split the prize money

Lets set some rules:
NoAWP/Auto
No nadespamming
Freindly Fire ON
Teamkilling = 2 then auto kick
Hostage kills 5=kick
Flashlights enabled
Footsteps enabled
VAC Enabled MANDITORY
AllTalk
No bombdefusal stealing unless you have a Defuser Kit

The site I am working on (http://bitpoker.biz) is basically a free service that would allow you to create a host page to make it easier to organize games and tournaments. We are working on a dedicated wallet, but are using instawallet for now. We can pretty much add any games that you'd like. If you guys want to set up a host page, simply go to the site or just PM and I'll get you set up.

It's a pretty cool thing actually, could be a lot of fun.

Here is another thread where someone was looking to make a gaming tournament with bitcoin : Counter Strike Global Offensive Tournament (1/8 Player) Entry fee:0.005 BTC and you can see that until now there is not too much interest.

some gamblers are also gamers they are just hiding their inner gaming spirit thats all
is the tournament a go or nah crysis2 is a good game also

Maybe so but I don't think many gamers are gamblers, and because it is skilled based people don't want to gamble with it.

That seems nice, to bad I can't play that on my laptop. Have you ever considered a League of Legends tournament? I think I would go for one of those xD
About the question if gamers are gamblers. To be honest I don't see any problem with it. I used to play a lot of games, and I even gambled when playing CS with my friends. Really low values, just to "increase game focus" lol. Like I said I would do it in League of Legends.
