Hi everyone,

I would like to know what is the best motherboard for mining right now?

I am currently using Asus prime Z270-A right now but one of them is dead...so I need to buy a new one.

My cards are RX580 and I need 7 slots

What is your recommendation?

Thanks!

I always settle for ASUS Z270-P Motherboard. Get some M2 to PCIe adapters and you are ready for 8 GPU motherboard.
Economical price and very reliable.

Any full-size Asus Z270 is good, I've got some z270p, z270a and z270e. Without splitters it's only 6+2 gpus max with z270p, 7+2 gpus with z270a and z270e. The latter has inbuilt wifi. If you don't need it, then z270a will do. If you don't need to connect more than 8 gpus, then z270p will do.
I'd stay away from z170 boards in general though (unless you can get one super cheap, and you're 100% sure it'll work with your 7 gpus).

Best board I think is the ASUS B250 mining expert, of course, I don't know where you can actually get it right now. MSI makes a decent board that should make 7 with an m.2 adapter it is the Z270-A PRO.

AsRock H81 PRO BTC R2.0 (s1150, Intel H81) motherboard is developed specifically for mining. It lacks unnecessary, expensive functions and technologies, due to which it becomes an optimal choice when assembling the system for mining your cryptocurrency.

I have never had any problems with gigabyte's ultra durable line of products but asus is also good.

You should see this page:

Gigabyte knows its stuff well.

I have been using gigabyte fintech B250 for almost 2 years, I used this board for building a 12 GPU rig with 6 Nvidia GPU + 6 AMD GPU. I also used gigabyte H110-D3A (6 PCIE) + PCIE multiplier expansion hub riser card with 9 GPUs connected.

Both motherboards working properly and easy to setup

Nice setting Buddy. I have used several motherboards, even Asus prime z270-a which is too expensive lol, and I think B250 and Giga H110-D3A are my most favorite ones, they are cheap, durable and dedicated for mining.

Why not use a motherboard which is made for mining purposes like h110 BTC pro and tb250-BTC mining board which is I think the best for mining.

Dark blue mother board have more lifespan compared to green board this is just what I notice if I run 24/7 mining.

Solving blocks can't be solved without my rigs.

I've found a lot of success with the Asus B250 Mining Expert Mobos, they can be found for relatively cheap now. All I have to do it set up the bios to boot on AC power loss and I'm done (I enable CSM support when using HiveOs)

Here is a complete list of the most popular mining motherboards on the market for 2019

https://cryptominertips.com/recommend-hardware-for-crypto-mining/gpu-mining-motherboards/
That's a good list.
It will all depend on your budget and the amount of GPUs you want to stick on it.

I personally had two MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon... that died almost simultaneously after roughly two years of use.

I've built rigs on GIGABYTE GA-H110-D3A's which are nice and cheap and easy to setup. I find 6-7 GPU boards the easiest to manage. You can power the GPUs with one or two PSUs and the size remains manageable.

The bigger boards (10-, 12- 18- slots) might be very good too but good luck with the troubleshooting once shit starts to hit the fan...

+1 to this.  some great options right now.

The price has fallen dramatically after the fall of the entire market. Now it is advantageous to take such an option, but only for the mining grin or beam.

In this agree. From my experience what was originally intended for mining works longer because it is able to withstand more stress and has wear resistance.
