I recently got trapped by this user

I just wanted to know, serial number ERP P/N, UPC code of any product which are purchased within US can be helpful to find the real owner of that specific product or can we catch the scammer if he does shared those technical specs(such things written on box ).
P.S : how can I find his IP and email address on this forum.

as for locating user via pc sn....
it can be done but you need to locate store which the laptop sold through and have look through the store records...so is nearly impossible for private user (maybe through law enforcement agency).
and main question is : there was a real laptop ?
