I think it's too earlier to have the conclusion that China will overtake US . Yes, I know what you mean, China has been successful in the past 30 years, but mainly economically. In terms of innovation, technology, culture and political influence, there is still a huge gap comparing with US. And US spent too much money in war during the past 20 years. It will recover from that, just like the recovery in 1970~1980s after Vietnam war.

No. China is having the manpower advantage, but it is not going to last forever. The birth rates in China are lower, when compared to its neighbors such as India and Myanmar. And Chinese defense equipment is yet to reach the necessary quality thresholds to compete with the same from the United States and Russia. My guess is that the US will remain as the sole super-power for some time to come.

I think that in the future whoever will control crypto-mining power has a good chance of becoming next superpower.
