Pretty sure it's not PRO ( https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/prochain/#charts ) but unsure as to why people would try to fake this?

Well it is better to some coins better than none. I have a friend who has suddenly 23eth worth of candy. I also have some very random coins in my metamask.
