Personally, hardware far more safer than you keep on computer because if you're computer got hacked, everything is gone.
For long term holding, then you should definitely store in a hardware wallet.

Just make sure that your device not get stolen because the size quite small, right
How actually would you make sure that it is not stolen? It usually just happens and usually goes against the owner's intention.

But it so happens that the hardware wallets remain secure even if stolen, because (1) the PIN can be tried only 3 times on Ledger (and then the device is wiped) and (2) the interval between PIN attempts doubles each time it is tried on Trezor, effectively limiting the number of times this can be tried in a lifetime.

Hardware wallet is quite safe and very useful, If you have got a lot coins and it is worth a lot of money then you can use it. Otherwise, you can use free online wallet or desktop wallet like Myetherwallet or Exodus.

If you have a decent amount invested and you plan to HOLD long term you need to get a hardware wallet. Ledger Nano S is great (relatively cheap, user friendly and very safe)

Obviously, hardware wallets will not be going to list every shitcoin that pops up, and I'm glad they don't do so. Exceptions will be made based on popularity of a certain coin, and its network.

If they know up front that a certain coins is popular, but suffers from network problems regularly, they will just ignore it. If you are that desperate to store shitcoins safely, just write the private key on a piece of paper.

The main priority for hardware wallets is to focus on delivering a quality experience, and not something that's based on quantity. Hardware wallets are optional, so it's not that you can't live without them.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

It seems to me that the best purse will be one that can be installed on a computer and take advantage of its ease and speed of access.

If you are planning to invest a lot of funds into bitcoin, I would advise you to spend some money to purchase a hardware wallet, Ledger Nano S is a very good choice as a hardware wallet to store your bitcoin safely, I had been using a Ledger Nano S hardware wallet for a very long time and my overall experience with it was good.

If your really not going to use it for years, then just print a paper wallet. That doesn't cost anything and instead you can spend the money on more Bitcoin.
This is the best, oldies but goodies. For those that don't want to spend some bucks to get their own hardware wallet this fits you guys. Just keep it safe since you will not use it for years so its for keeps.
It's a good idea to do plasticizing on your paper, to make sure it stays intact over years. Also don't forget to make multiple backups of the paper and spread them over different places.
Yes it's a good idea of putting some protective shield like plastic on that paper and just put it somewhere that can't be reached by any intruder. And true, getting a back up is a must.

Hardware wallet are indeed overrated, some people really think it's the only way to store Bitcoin. But I prefer to just use a air-gapped machine with wallet software compiled from the source. It's actually much more authentic, as most hardware wallets don't have all their source code public.
It's really a good way to store bitcoin and there's no doubt with it. They don't expose their source code in public because it can be an advantage for penetrators.

I've been using the hardware wallet for two years now. It is very safe and really helps in the work. In Tresor's hardware wallet, the password manager function is built-in. This is very convenient.

Tresor? Do you mean Trezor wallet right?
Unfortunately, its very hard to get that kind of wallet in my country. I must import it, and my customs Department very sucks.
There is a chance that our imported goods will be held due to strict regulations.

Depending on which couns you want to store. You must check the one hard wallet that will be compatible. All take BTC and ETH I believe. Now the next thing is to make sure you buy legit one. Some online sellers sell cheap but you do not know yet what they might have done to it. So buy from legit retailers only.

If you are thinking on holding hard wallet for me is the best choice that is because you know that you have it on your computer than many sites out there that stores your coin but it can be hackable. If you check the news there are actually hacking that happened especially in those trading platforms so be always careful on where you are putting your coin.

You're right mate, but in some point as far as I know only users have a huge amount of shares could buy those hardware wallet. But, in some situation it will depends on the kind of apps you have like the coins.ph which is didn't need a hardware wallet since it is very trusted apps. Well, I understand that you're point is the security but I think it will depends on each users prerogative choice.

If you are looking for a long term hold then yes you should get one ,
It is really safe to use a hard ware wallet I think there is no way a hacker could get into it.

Every type of wallet has its own advantage and disadvantages. Most of the online wallets now is possibly hackable thats why we arent sure if your btc/alts are safe. Internet has a lot of bad guys that are anonymous. Having your hardware wallet will reduce the change of getting hack from internet but it has a disadvantage too that you are willing to take. It might be lost or broke depends in the circumstances. But for me I will choose the wallet which is suitable into myself.

Kinda yes, if you are holding a large amount of coins. It is pretty much safe storing your coins in a hardware wallet because no one can steal it from you. Online wallet is safe also but you should just keep your private keys or else hackers are everywhere so probably they can steal it. Though hardware wallet is quite expensive but if you have an extra money, why not to invest from it. At least you know that your coins are safe.

I really agree with what you said because every wallet have it own advantage and disadvantage but almost every hardware wallet and paper wallet are secure if follow the necessary procedure and avoid human error, this is why I think is better to read and understand the wallet you want to use before using as storage.

2. Purchase your gadget from producer site just, as there are known instances of tricks by eBay re merchants. Examine the defensive seal upon conveyance.
