These obvious advantages of decentralized exchanges, in my opinion, allow us to control our own funds.
Thus, the risk that the exchange will be hacked or goes bankrupt is reduced to zero!!!! Could you imagine this! This can lead to increased liquidity, because when the counterparty's risk goes away, users will be able to leave orders open for a longer time. And, it will create global order books.
Decentralized exchanges are cross-border, they can serve anyone from anywhere in the world.
