Buy cryptos without first buying bitcoins, litecoin or ethereum

Hi all.


In the past I've bought cryptos through Localbitcoins and Coinbase, but are there other ways of buying cryptos without first buying bitcoin/litecoin/ethereum? For example, is it possible to buy say Dash or EOS directly from Fiat currency?

At least for Dash there's Kraken.
I've never used their services, but I know for quite long time that you can trade there a good number of crypto for USD or EUR.

Kraken seems to also have EOS /BTC, so if you deposit there you can get both - Dash and EOS - (although I understand that this is not what you wanted in case of EOS)

There are a few exchangers, that also offer other coins. Bitwala.com for example is offering Dash (and BTC, LTC and ETH). But you need a kind of verification , depending on the amount, you want to exchange.

Bitfinex will let you buy DASH and EOS directly with USD, as well as ETC, ZEC, XMR, XRP, IOTA, SAN, OMG, NEO, QTUM, and some others. Bitstamp sells DASH for USD or EUR. To trade with fiat you will need to go through their KYC/verification process however.
