So many sr+ members applying for a member slot. If you're willing to accept $25 per week for your sr/hero sig, surely it makes better financial sense for signature campaign managers to keep you at this rate rather than bumping you to the next pay grade... After all, that's better bang per buck for Bustadice.

I suspect @yahoo62278 could save his employers a lot of money if he kept a log of the minimum rates each user would accept, particularly paying attention to those sr+ members looking to secure lower tier slots. Maybe such a system would curtail plans the play the long game, making it impossible for newer users to compete.

AFAICT, Yahoo usually go for users in the vacant rank first, and goes out that rank occasionally, perhaps when if doesn't find a suitable within the rank. That said I've been following Bustadice campaign for quite a while now It's not regular for user to get ranked up eg: finaleshot2016 has been Hero Member before joining in the campaign, but never got a chance to rank up until now (he got removed) Ralle14 also spent over 5 months receiving Sr Member pay before being able to move up to Hero Spot.

I'd say the reason for users willing to accept any pay is because of the longevity of the campaign, at least for me it is. The pay rate is also better than what most campaign tends to offer these days, so why not. I'd rather join $25 per week campaign which is bound(probably) to last for long term, than ~$40-50 paying campaign which would only last for a 2-3 weeks.

Additionally, i think Yahoo is looking for high quality posters, not for random users that accept lower payment rates. After all, the company already decided the amount of money per week they want to spend. The best thing a good manager can do is to choose high quality users to make the best use of that money. Not search for lower quality users because they are cheaper and save money.

Actually, it is the other way around: High pay rates attract better posters to join the campaign, which will have a better reputation to represent the company brand. Which is what matters, in the end: what is the reputation of those people representing your brand.


I am not criticizing in no way people who are willing to accept lower pay rates. I am now in a Sr. Member slot in Yolodice campaign, for the same reasons as mentioned by Harkorede (good pay rates, good management, longevity...). But I don`t think managers should look for that to save money.

I'm not criticizing you because we are all free to apply if there is a open slot in this campaign. However base on your posts, most of it are on the Off-topic, local and services and you are posting at around 7-11 posts per month and most of them are one line posts.

Don't get me wrong bud but if you want to be accepted here, maybe you should step up in how you post because for sure Yahoo doesn't accept one liner posters .

Generally speaking, when I gave you the advice to "have a have a look here for all BTC-Signature-campaigns: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.msg52812748#msg52812748" my advice included to have a look towards those that have open slots before blindly applying any campaign.

And thankfully Ralle14 helps Mitchell in that mentioned thread and just 2 days ago updated the campaigns with open seats right in the beginning of the post.

Please check those campaigns and keep in mind to never apply to an campaign with no open seats (it´s not against the rules but it A) bumps a thread to many users watchlist when there is no real need having a look and B) takes time for the BM to possibly answer (which not all BMs have)

Hello, friend. I watched all the campaigns, but I thought that there was a chance to get into those campaigns where there is more reward. I'm probably too naive. Thank you for your advice.
