Bank to Dwolla To MTGOX Deposit

So how long does it normally take to put money into dwolla from your bank. then it goes to MTGOX does that usually take.  In the real world trade can change in 3 to 4 days, does it take this long and have to take this long?  Mine cleared Dwolla, so I would think it would be in MTGOX instantly, or within 15 20 minutes or so?

Not sure about MTGOX, but Dwolla usually takes 3 business days. Sometimes less.

It usually takes me a total of about 5-6 days to transfer funds from my bank to Dwolla and then to MtGox.

I'm waiting for my Bank to clear with Dwolla. I understand why this will take time, but why does it take days and days just to TRANSFER? I mean, if you pay (anything) from your bank account with Paypal it is instant...

Not sure about MTGOX, but Dwolla usually takes 3 business days. Sometimes less.

Is Dwolla to Dwolla instant ? I don't see why it shouldn't be. If any transfer lasts for days I don't see how it could ever challenge PayPal. But I know they're already using it in some retail stores, so it must be instant. If MtGox doesn't do a Dwolla to Dwolla transfer but a Dwolla to bank transfer that's their problem...

I spoke to Dwolla about that. They pledged to inform me what banks would support instant transfer when it becomes available. It's on their roadmap, in othe rwords.

Yeah this has been my problem so far and catching the right prices on MTGOX.  It definitely takes 3 days to go from your bank account to dwolla, then it could take a day to get to MTGOX but seems to be a day or less from dwolla to MTGOX, so your looking at a 4 day window just to get money to MTGOX to purchase bitcoins.  In these days way too much can happen in 4 days for that to be a good method.
