Buiding desktop scrypt mining

Hello, this may be a stupid question but I'm just new around here and very interested to start mining some scrypt coins.
So my question is what is the best hardware to buy for building a good desktop. I'm not interested to buy a /build a rig or an L3+ miner
just want to know what is the best hardware like motherboard, vide cards etc etc.

If someone can give me a list and with the approx hash rate I can get. Many thx in advance
